Not sure spacing has been so weird on my posts and the YT link is getting stripped?

happens in other threads as well

hopefully we'll get patty's opinions on it soon, he already has the parts from the TT-X68 so it's just a matter of getting it built.

Chris sent this picture of the painted size 46. It was actually supposed to be matte, so will just need to check with GF whether glossy is OK or it should be repainted in matte (Chris already asked if they should repaint).

FWIW he says weight is same for glossy and matte. Would have thought matte was a bit lighter (the heaviest one yet in this thread was matte, though - but also a big size).

Hi, could you tell me what internal and external widths those XMCS wheels are and how much space you still have left in that frame with the 28mm tires?
I am looking for a similar setup but would size up my tires to 30 or even 32mm.
Thanks!

Patrick how bad is the chainstay issue? which cogs are affected? can you test it with other derailleurs to see if it's a SRAM only issue?

@patliean1 in his video talks about the seatpost slipping despite very high tightening torque. I'll try to explain what could be the cause and how to fix it. The seatpost clamp is designed such that the part that presses against the seatpost has a limited forward extension. The opposite part of the clamp rests against the frame. If the seatpost seat is too large, the clamp won't be able to securely hold the seatpost when the bolt is fully tightened. This will be indicated by a high tightening torque and a large gap between the seatpost clamp and the seatpost or frame, depending on the clamp design. The VB-TT-023 frame uses the same seatpost and clamp, and everything works perfectly with a tightening torque of just 4.8 Nm for a rider weight of 73 kg. My TWITTER bike initially had large gaps, and they've gotten even larger over the past three years, causing the seatpost to slip. I added a soft metal spacer between the clamp and the frame (three layers of 1.4 mm each), and it's helping so far. I think this is a universal solution for any frame. However, VB should adjust their manufacturing process and better control the seatpost mounting space, IMHO.

Keep the glossy! No doubt

@Alexlp - Thank you sir! This is super helpful and will test it out later on today's ride.

@pertual - It's only when in the final 10t cog which is exclusive to Sram. All the other cogs are totally fine. Like I said in the video you can clear chain stay simply by backing out of B-limit screw a couple of turns. Shifting is totally fine even under load. It's just not optimal to manufacturer spec.

Why hasn't anyone else in here reported this chain stay issue? I know there's at least 1-2 folks in here with complete builds. My strong suspicion is Shimano/non-Sram derailleurs don't have this issue. Their hardware isn't as beefy as Sram and the max cog is only 11t

Finally, I swapped in a set of Yoeleo C60/88 pro wheels with larger 30c tires. This is way...

EDIT: As I was typing this, someone commented on my video regarding the length of my chain:

"Regarding the chainstay, have you tried eliminating one block of chain? It will lower the RD position. (I am not sure if your chain has become too short for the lowest cassette)."

I am using the same chain and length that was originally sized for a 50t chainring. Not 52t. Would that make a difference?
