About 15mm tapering down 7ish but the stem can sit in it by 5 mm at the front/10 ish at the back

Got a message from Chris saying that the frames chainstays have been corrected for SRAM...

Anyone got any photos of their chainstays to pop up in comparison?

My size 460 frame arrived today, it was shipped on November 5th. The plastic stiffener piece inserted at rear axle had broken, but it doesn't appear the frame is damaged. No extra cut in the chain stay for extra clearance for SRAM rear derailleurs and the same Di2 battery mount attached to bottom of seat post as seen in Patrick's video.

A few weights:
Frame including the 4 bottle cage bolts and installed FD mount, but w/o UDH RD hanger: 1.415 kg
Uncut fork: 503 g
Uncut seat post: 388 g
Thru axles front/rear: 35/41 g

I think y'all are too focused on the weight of these things.... If you want Aethos weight buy another frame, shrug.

The frame is beautiful, but I still don't understand where that weight comes from, even in small sizes. My x38, which is also a fairly massive aero frame, in size 49 (painted and with hardware) weighs 1150g.
Also the seatpost, which is very similar to this one, weighs about 250g. This one weighs 130g more... that's weird.

Cant wait to see this built up. The flip colour looks really good on the big profile frame. It looks like its got a bigger area to "flip" and these frames look better in bigger sizes.

Yeah i don't really care about the actual weight (it's not gonna make a difference for me, i'm not looking for a 6.5kg bike), it's more a comparison with other chinese frames. It's probably a good thing for durability, since they decided to put so much carbon on it.

No, of course it's not that important.. but it's strange, I thought that in smaller sizes it would be closer to the declared weight.. instead it remains quite high.

Nice! Honestly, this is probably how I'd set this one up, saddle forwards to the max and long, upwards angled stem + aerobars.

Riser cockpits are a great idea and solution to many problems, so I really hope they become more developed and commonplace. I think, for certain riders, there is a lot of aero to be gained in a properly designed riser aero stem.
