iGPSPORT SPD70 sensor issue

I’ve been using iGPSPORT iGS630 computer with cadence (CAD70) and speed (SPD70) sensors second season now. Everything worked fine until original battery died in speed sensor. I exchanged the battery and I can connect to the computer but the speed just remains 0 all the time. Anyone who had similar issue in the past or have some ideas on how to fix this?

Sometimes the circumference is reset, maybe it went to 0 instead of 2090mm, otherwise exchange the mode to cadence and check if it reports anything.

I set the circumference to 2136mm (700 x 28C) but it didn’t help. What do you mean by change mode to cadence? Cadence sensor works fine and shows proper data on computer. Maybe I’ll try the original battery from CAD sensor and move it to SPD sensor. After that I’m out of ideas.

Some IGP sensors are dual mode speed/cadence all in one and changing the battery also changes the mode, but SPD70 is speed only so this should not affect this type of sensor. Try re-pairing all sensors to the computer. This works for me when changing batteries and the sensors do not show any readings.

Weirdest thing - I took out the original Maxell battery from CAD70 and put it inside of SPD70 and it works! Also the GP battery works in CAD70. So Maxell works in both but GP works only in CAD70 for some reason..
