SL8 / Seraph X68 Triathlon Aero Bar

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Tantan X68 and I’m really happy with it. I’m planning to use the bike for triathlon as well, and I’m currently looking for an easy way to mount some aero bars. However, I haven’t found a good solution yet.

I came across some information about 3D-printed adapters and the idea of using the old Venge cockpit with a different stem, but nothing seems straightforward.

Has anyone found a good solution for this, or is anyone using a compatible handlebar setup that works well?

First, you have to ask to Tantan if the handlebar is reinforced by kevlar or something else to allow clamping aerobar.

If yes, you can try aerobar like this :

I already asked Tantan, but their response was just a recommendation for a complete triathlon handlebar setup.

I’ve also found the Aero Plug solution, which looks quite good.

Are there any handlebars from other brands that are better suited for this kind of setup?
I saw that Black Inc offers some really nice handlebars, but they’re more expensive than my entire frame.

If you are going with integrated setup, no.
Whether ridiculous expensive, or not as a unit.

I would go for the suggested option.
As long as you are not clamping too far away from the stem section  (and keep the leverage low), it should be fine.
The clamp is not sharp and fitting the geometry of the handlebar, so no pressure points to be expected.

Thank you very much for all the information. I will take a closer look at the Aero Plug solution, which is currently my favorite.
