Good video!!! Thanx for the closeups. I thought that the entire top of the shoe was "mesh" but it seems that there is only small part on top that will provide some ventilation.
The more I see these the better they look to be honest. Lets wait for some of you guys show these after 1-2 months of use, outside.

I actually rode the HEZO shoes for a while, but ultimately switched back to Bont.
The HEZOs are undeniably comfortable, but they feel more suited to casual or leisure riding. With only a single BOA dial, they don’t provide the level of stability or the secure, locked-in feel needed for more sporty, performance-oriented riding.

I’ve now settled on the Bont Vaypor SL in the Wide version. If you’ve struggled with the fit of other Bont models, it’s worth noting that the Vaypor SL Wide is significantly wider than the Riot 24 Wide. It offers noticeably more volume and a broader platform, while still delivering Bont’s renowned power transfer.

For me, it strikes the perfect balance combining much of the comfort you’d expect from a shoe like the HEZO with the stiffness and support needed for more sporty, performance-oriented riding.

I disagree with above statement. Fortunately I was able to adjust my cleats and I found a good position for me, the angle of it. I struggled with that for around 1 week. Recently I had 3-4 hours rides on smart trainer, I had 2 hours thresholds, 2 hours of sprints, I didn't noticed any issue with the shoes. No movement, no instability, all was fine. Maybe that is also personal, maybe depend on the scan quality and all. Since I started riding on a road bike, I always have 1 boa, mostly I used DMT shoes.

Glad they work for you, Mariuszuzd! For me, it came down to the construction: The HEZO essentially feels like a soft liner inside a 3D-printed cage.

Because that outer cage isn't flexible, it doesn't wrap the foot like a traditional performance upper. I found myself having to crank the single BOA way too tight just to prevent my heel from slipping, which creates uncomfortable pressure points on the top of the foot.

In my opinion, if you want a 3D-printed shoe that actually nails the performance aspect, you have to look at the Lore Three the way it integrates the structure and holds the foot is just a completely different league. For my riding style, I need that secure 'locked-in' feel without having to overtighten everything.

For what it's worth, I have the older generation of Riot (Velcro + Boa) and the new generation of Vaypor (originally sold as Vaypor 2023, I think--two boas, no flap, allegedly same last as the SL, as seen here https://shop.bontcycling.com/products/vaypor-2023-white) in wide, and I would say those OG Riots are noticeably wider than the Vaypors. Might be worth considering for wide foot crew.

That's why I am considering 3d printed shoes and Lore shoes are so expensive as fck, almost the same price as my bike lol. I have Spenco insoles in my shoes and I also got it fitted by a bike fitter. Dunno if it is still in adaptation period or something.

Don't be fooled by the 3D-printed look the HEZO is also extremely stiff.
If your feet don't like the rigidity of the Vaypor SL, the HEZO won't feel much better.

Exact shoe size and my toe will hit the toe box when my foot expands, that’s why I am considering a 3d cycling shoe. Maybe Helu 03 will fix my shoe problem. I currently have Shimano rc903 and Bont Vaypor SL and I experience hot foot 30 mins during ride. Also experienced them on Sworks recon mtb shoes.

Just get ht G8 copies from AE. Many have used them here.

Footbalance and sokestar are very good. Solestar is maybe not custom but it works great with it's construction, G8 is no as good, too soft arch support which eventually collapses.

My G8 heel support already broken. I have Spenco Ground Control High Arc on my shoes and it gives me hot foot maybe after an hour or 2.

Bontrager and Lake are the go to shoes for wide feet.

Don't make the mistake of getting Lake "wide fit" ones unless you genuinely have yeti-shaped feet - even the standard Lakes are wider than any other shoe.
