Elite Wheels 12 Speed Freehub and Cassette Compability

as i am new to the "build your own bike" game i tried to make preparations as good as i can.
After i bought my Goldix 12 Speed Cassette some weeks ago i finally received my Elite ENT 2.0 Disc wheels.
Now i somehow cannot seem to fit the Cassette onto the Freehub of the wheel or rather cannot push it so far as to be able to screw in the endcap.

On the Goldix-Productpage on AE there is a picture saying the cassette is not compatible with HG MTB. Which kinda looks like the Freehub of the Elite Wheels.


But the product page of the Elite Wheelset says it is compatible with HG 12 Speed Cassettes


I am heavily confused. Especially as i saw one tutorial saying i should match the thinner nut on the Freehub the the thinner sparing of the Cassette which the cassette doesnt have.

Does anyone have an Idea what seems to be wrong?
AI told me to look for spacers but other on the endcap of the cassette, which is a micrometer thin shimmy i havent found anything. Without the shimmy it also doesnt fit which was easy to predict looking at the missing distance which you can see in the pictures below

The splines of the cassette looks very unusual, usual HG-compatible cassettes have assymetrical splines to achieve proper alignment (which is relevant to non-monoblock cassettes). I have had 12 speed cassettes from Sroad, Riro and ZTTO and they all fit fine on Elite freehub. I think the issue is in cassette. Could you measure width of the cassette from the inside?

Do you have a Shimano 11 or 12 speed cassette to test how that fits ?

So i wrote Elite on Aliexpress. They said the Cassette should fit and it's probably due to close tolerances on both products and i have to try to wobble it in.
Didnt work. Now i have an Shimano R8100 cassette on the way (which should be HG L1 backwardscompatible) and see if that fits.
After that i'm going to see if i have to write Goldix or gotta get a new Freehub from Elite

So for everyone to know:
The Goldix Cassette is kinda at fault here. The R8100 Shimano Ultegra-Cassette fits just perfect. So i am going to have to write the store where i bought the goldix cassette and try to get a refund

So i just got my Elitewheels Aero+ and it looks like the freehub is a HG MTB version with ~35mm length.

And I have a ZTTO 11-speed cassette which is for HG Road with ~36.75mm length, at the moment i can only screw the lockring one turn, which is far away from holding 40Nm.

I mean Elitewheels say the same on the Aero+ product info on AliX, it's a "Shiman0 10-11-12" (love the zero) Freehub. I feel a bit betrayed and naive for not reading it correctly like the wheels are obviously for a road bike and should therefore have a HG Road freehub and not a MTB one...

Still waiting for response from Elitewheels.

So i have to take pictures and videos of the mounting of the two cassettes that i have, like a 11-Speed HG MTB and the new 11-speed HG Road one. Also suggestion was to use a spacer, but this would only work the other way around with long HG freehub and small cassette.

Is here nobody else with this issue with Elitewheels HG freehubs?

I mean, how many of the typical "Raod" 11T-28/32/34/36T 11/12-speed cassettes have the HG MTB width on AliX?
Some of the Ultralight ones (monoblock) have this info even in there description, to use a HG Road with 35.75mm and it will not fit on the 35mm MTB version.

Short Update:

Elitewheels say they are in spec, ZTTO say they are in spec.

Happen that one of them is few 0.1mm above the spec and the other is below.
So there is a bigger tolerance gap which than is visible with not enough threads on the lock ring.

I took the fastest way to fix, just milled 1mm off at the back side of the cassette, now i have 2.5 - 2.75 turns on the lockring threads which is fine for me and much better than barely 1.5 turns.

Hmm I would more likely say it's a cheap quality issue on the ZTTO cassette, rather than the Elitewheels freehub. At least they invested some time into my issue and checked the freehub lengths and spec and showed me some pictures. So I would not say they were not willing to help.
