[Help]. Looking for short cranks
« on: August 07, 2025, 06:22:33 PM »
Dear community.

I am looking for some short cranks 160-165 for my partner as her 170mm arms might be too long and causing knee issues. (Yes she has had a bike fit done).  With the popularity of them rising thanks to pogacar ther are very hard to source where I am from and if you find them they’re hella expensive.

Can anyone here recommend some relatively cheap (sub 150 usd) cranks 24mm spindle for shimano bb86? Weight is preferred to be on the lower side, however not an issue as this will be a test.

JensoUSA has the 160mm Shimano 105 Crankset in stock at $175.
Check eBay too for overstock sales right now, also bc of overstock sales, lightly used parts are very cheap.

Lately I’ve had better luck getting parts for cheap through sales on Jenson, eBay, anyplace that bought overstock components etc.
Alot of “AliExpress” parts don’t make sense at this moment. I bought carbon cranks for ~$100 before and now they’re ~$200-250. I just bought a New Force Crankset for $180 (with chainring)

You can find short cranksets from Aliexpress, particularly from reputable sellers who deal in group set sales: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMv1YkV

As a bonus, if you can use Taobao or Xianyu (via a shipping forwarder), you can find them for cheaper and greater availability.
