Front hanger SP-G056
« on: July 28, 2025, 04:27:26 PM »
I set my bike up as a 1x but have a brutal hilly tour coming up and was going to put the front derailleur back on. Alas I have lost the hanger. Does anyone know if these are universal ? I tried the one off my Giant TT bike - bolt holes on the frame line up but doesn't clear the indent on the seat tube.
I have a hope until someone can prove otherwise.

Do you have enough time to order a spare? I'd probably just get a direct replacement. Also can you go with a bigger cassette if possible?

Sent a message to them an hour ago, I have a few weeks before I need it. Currently I have a 44t chainring and 10-44 cassette but I will be loaded and have some hills that are 14%+ and 3500' climbing on the second day. I could probably do it if it was pavement but it's off road. My 2x crank is a 43/30
