Thanks
I was understand that they were aware of the problem and had added a layer of anti-slip paint... which, according to what @giorgiobuccio wrote, didn't solve it.
I really don’t think this is a widespread problem with this frame. I think I was just unlucky.
Even frames of the same model can have small differences in dimensions. If the opening in the frame is slightly larger and the seatpost is slightly smaller, the fit may be less precise and cause problems. So you can be unlucky with a particular frame and seatpost combination, while other people have no issues with the same model.
Problems around the saddle and seatpost are more common than you might expect: seatposts can slip, and saddles can tilt because the clamp doesn’t hold them properly. This is a sensitive area on many frames, including those from Western brands. It’s not something specific to this product.
At first, I received a seatpost with a smooth surface. After I explained the problem to Chris, they sent me another one with a rough, anti-slip coating to help stop it slipping. Similar solutions have also been used by Western brands.
I’m not trying to blame anyone. Unfortunately, these things happen. My case was quite bad, but we managed to fix it. I think I was simply a bit unlucky. Even very small movements can cause a lot of noise, because the hollow carbon frame amplifies the sound.
