FYI, I should receive my frame next Tuesday (Size 54, white glossy) and be able to build it on Wednesday. I will make a long review about the quality (inside / outside) then the first ride.

Sounds great, i think a lot of us are looking forward for someone to share their build experience. It would be great to know some more base stats, for example if you ordered ultralight or superlight (and if you could throw the frame on a scale), if you got the handlebars etc.

I will weight each part. I choose the SL version, not the UL. With the white color glossy, It should be the heaviest frame in size 54.

For thé handlebar, I bought one from SP cycle. The one which allows aerobar.

My frame arrived yesterday.
I’m going to weigh the parts and maybe take a few pictures. At first glance, there are two drawbacks.
The fork doesn’t have an integrated cone, so you have to use one thats onto the fork crown. This makes the gap between the head tube and the fork crown relatively large, which isn’t very nice.
The biggest problem for me is that the seatpost has a minimum insertion depth of 120mm!
That means the seatpost is too short for me. Normally, a 350mm seatpost with a 100mm insertion depth is spot on for me with the SL8 geometry. So this seatpost is too short. Actually, I should probably sell the frame now. The seat height on the 54cm frame is therefore a maximum of 473mm + 220mm + 40mm = 733mm
My seat height is approx. 750mm

Could you send a picture of the cone and the gap that forms? And regarding the seatpost i was told they could also provide a 400mm seatpost. Maybe that is something you could get from them. Or maybe someone who orders the frame in a similar region to you could get two seatposts so that you dont have the shipping from china. Where are you from? I will probably be ordering one for me in germany.

Indeed, He said that the seatpost is 400 mm (will check this after receiving the frame). I asked for one setback and no offset searposts.

By all means, confirm w Jack, but it's an OEM frame, not a boutique build from the future, so i doubt they put much thought into min seatpost insertion. More likely, they just wrote something because that's what you do.
The clamp system is also a classic one (battle tested for eons), not the crappy one on the gran turismo / factor / pinarello (I think?) where you tighten 2 tiny screws from the back.
Therefore, if typical seat post insertion is 10cm, you can probably get away using 10cm.
I write this as someone with long legs and a lot of exposed seat post.

Have you confirmed that this crown is needed? It doesn't look like the attached crown fit the fork.

100% Sure. Without the crown, so only with the bearings, the headtube touches the fork.

I think in the final product the gap wont be as big. As far as i know the crown race should rest directly on the fork so the gap should only be minimally bigger than with an integrated crown (I am no expert though ). From my point that aint a dealbreaker and as i said i will probably order the frame as well, maybe i can just get a second seatpost with 400mm as well. I will need that too as i need a 56 frame with a seatheight of 785mm of Seatheight (minus 40/50mm for the saddle).

I will ask him, probably not that much. Only problem will be delivery time, if you cant use your current seatpost you will probaby have to wait 6-8 weeks. And regarding the crown race, you didnt hammer it down completely in the pictures your shared. I think the gap will be just a bit bigger than an integrated crown.

FYI: Extra Seatpost would be 35 Euro and no additional shipping if i order it. He also told me 100mm or even 90mm is fine. So just as someone already predicted they don't have any special minimal insertion length. I will try an SL8 on the weekend and then finalize my order next week. If you need the 400mm seatpost just let me know and i will get one extra (just need to know if you need setback).
