Alternative to Clik-Valves

Hi,

I really like the Clik-Valves - especially since my kids could handle them better than others... But: Since we're having way too many wheelsets on too many bikes (I'd guess 15 to 20 wheelsets) that would be a bit expensive If I consider € 6 per wheelset.
If I further think about our race team - it would be easier to make a transition for all of the riders or non of them - since you'd need two pumps ready and would need to know who's riding what...

So I was wondering: has anyone seen any alternatives - team packages... copies... idk...

I'm also awaiting chinese copies of clik valves, but what you linked isn't an alternative valve at all. It's just a 90 degree inflator for TT wheels when you can't connect a normal presta inflator

Just buy the clik valves. They are cheap. It is a great product with some nice people working on it. I bought them for all my wheels. Basically a one-time purchase that will improve your bike quality of life every single day forever.

This, really happy with mine. The only issue I have is that the distribution network in Canada isn't great currently, so shipping is costly. I really hope they gradually supplant Presta, they're great valves.

Unfortunately they are not cheap if you have more than one bike/wheelset...
Since both of my kids are racing - 4 different bikes each... add my own stuff and the replacement wheels... Im talking about having to switch about 20 wheelsets... 6€ per wheelset is just a tall order if you have more bikes to take care of...
especially with the racing kids - can't use the pumps of the team during the races, would need to bring a second pump everywhere... Or I'd get a set of 200 walves so we can start to supply the whole team... That would be nice... but Schwalbe doesn't do offers for big quantities...

Ah, now I get the different perception...
I'm in Europe, die to licensing clik don't sell themselves but only Schwalbe does... And when I tried to contact them I've got a rather independently answer that they wouldn't deal with individuals and I should contact a Schwalbe dealer...

I'm running tubeless, I would like to understand if the latex can clog the clik valve or not.

I'm tubeless on 4 bikes. All are clik. No clogs.

That said, ANY valve can clog. I've pulled chunks of half dry latex out of tires that could clog a garden hose. --- but I've also never had a bike valve clog. Not one. Not ever. So I dunno.

Clik valves are a big quality of life improver at nominal cost. They don't get air in or out any faster or make you faster or anything like that. It is a valve. It just happens to be WAY more pleasant to live with day in and day out. It saves a tiny amount of time many many times.

Put cliks on both of my bikes. Honestly the simplicity of just clicking the pump head on and pumping vs the 5sec it takes to inscrew the presta...its so dumb but so satisfying haha

I can confirm. Simple and satisfying. No more bending of the inner cores by my wife. No more paranoia if the presta is screwed in properly and will not leak slowly. One of the best ways to spend 4 euro in the cycling hobby imo.

No leaking and esay to pump, it's a good innovation
