I'm sorry but any comparison from someone who pushes his affiliate codes for products before even testing them is not trustworthy. Not to mention buying fake followers on social media to trick people into thinking you have a big followers base and scam Chinese manufacturers to get free/discounted products/affiliate codes..

I'm not paid, not paying anyone for anything, I'm testing three sources for my own purposes, to have the right power readings. I'm doing that for most products I acquire or you are right, sometimes I get to be tested.

Regarding the main topic, I will provide all data, fit files, you can check all. I'm not a person like GPLAMA, and don't have any payment or sources. He did some three rides and he is happy. For me it's not enough. I wanted to reduce the weight of my bike so I decided to mount power meter in the crank. I'm mostly doing all testes by my own money, I bought all three by my resources. Regarding the results, what others will do that is their choice. I'm using all sources so Elite Justo, FAVERO assioma duo and Xcadey for Easton for some time already. That is second week, the plan was to have only one week, but I decided to extend it to the full two weeks.

Lastly, here you have some data from my a bit tougher workout, VO2Max 30 Second  15 Second Microburst Interval Blocks. I can provide all for you in email, if you want.

In the shown dataset the deviation seems fairly consistent across samples. Based on this it looks as if setting the power scaling for the Xcadey to about 0.94 and the Xcadey should be extremely close to the other sources. If this offset is consistent across rides then this is a 'solution' I can live with.
The problem with my Xcadey unit is that this scaling factor is way too inconsistent acroos a ride and different rides. Sometimes +1% other times -3% even within the same ride. This is in my opinion this is far from the advertisied specs and not acceptable. I will however say that my Xcadey unit has gotten less bad as I have used it more. It has now come to the point where I based on the zero offset value displayed on my head unit can tell that the Xcadey will show lower power values for this ride.

Are you talking about my analysis of the XCadey Gen II spider? If so, I don't understand your reference to my testing.

For clarity - My testing protocol is efficient. It only took two rides to determine there were critical issues with this meter. I was NOT happy at being able to reproduce issues with the unit I had multiple times during each testing session. No amount of further testing was going to resolve the issues XCadey themselves have acknowledged. The unit came straight off my bike and I'm waiting to hear back from XCadey to see if they've made improvements via firmware (or within their hardware).

Just to clarify, I have the spider power meter Gen 2,not the ventus crank so I cannot provide any feedback regarding that product. Like I said, I will show l results after I finalize my testing. In general the results are consistent. All sources showed different results, however somehow similar. All devices were calibrated, and are before every ride. During the testing period, Xcadey got the firmware update for no. 41. In general I will have around 10 workouts, different, with some sprint, vo2max, tempo and endurance. I was not happy with favero as the body has a bit play now as it's plastic so I look for some replacement.

I have 2 powermeters from xcadey and it has been trouble free but the calibration is not accurate but repeatable .... if you use it to get your FTP and use that number than its not an issue.  the offset is not correct.

You are a fraud and a paid shill or maybe even worse, a free shill because you're wannabe influencer. You lie to people here and other platforms, use fake followers base to gain financial benefit. You offer products and affiliate codes before you even test a product. You clearly lie to chinese companies that you will help sell their products to get freebies and codes.how desperate has a company be to give affiliate codes to a fraud with fake Indian followers on Instagram. You are a fraud and people like you should be banned and expelled from any community.

In Poland we have some saying "Słychać wycie, znakomicie", can be translated as "you can hear the howling, great" so you are doing great work. There will be always someone who is always complaining and criticizes. Thank you for that, it only motivate me even more :) moreover, I'm just amateur cyclist, that is all, not an influencer, and never have I wanted to be one.

For all interested of facts, here you can find my comparison of Xcadey Gen 2, with all the data and fit files - https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,6884.0.html

also got xcadey gen2 and did tests.
tl;dr: indoor seems fine, needed -2% offset and i suspect some sprints undershoot, no migrating offset. Very similar with indoor results from GPLama, but can't ride outside till april to test outdoor problems from his video.

Comparing with Elite Direto (very first one) and Magene PES505.
For past 7 years Direto was tested with FSA PowerBox (Power2Max NGEco) and Xcadey gen1 spider. In those tests Direto had identical readings with some constant offset - fsa no offset, magene offset +4%, xcadey gen1 -2% - so Direto my control device.
I have only spider PMs, so no triple recording and no outdoor comparison

Direto - Magene - flawless, even sprints identical
Direto - Xcadey gen2 - -2% offset needed for xcadey and sprints slightly undershooting

Test protocol - copied from GPLama, with free ride first, sprints, some ERG work, more sprints and 2 stops in the middle for calibration. FIT files and screenshots attached

I can live with gen2 results if there would be no outdoor problems, but very interested in ThinkRider PP5 spider and watching its forum topic

It seems that power undershooting is a problem with cadence measurement.
The measured cadence is lagging noticeably on Xcadey during sprints.

Boom. There it is on the XCadey, cadence sensing issues in peak power acceleration/sprints. I'd consider that in-line with my testing scope. And unfortunately for XCadey, in-line with my results.

That's a very bad answer for serious accusations. But it does not surprise me. People like you without moral spine always trying to downplay their sketchy behavior. You are a fraud and liar. You have been shilling xcadey and offering affiliate codes before even trying it first. In other groups many people that had bad experience with this product you was calling haters. Again typical for low morale people like you. Your tests and reviews are as fake as your Instagram followers, which is extremely embarrassing and you should be just ashamed of yourself and no one here should take you seriously.

I have talked to xcadey for months about the calibration and try to improve their discrepancies with power.  What they dont understand is that to be accurate there are a minimum of 3 pts in calibrations is needed not just 1
My explanation is
Power = Torque x "rpm"
Torque from sensor is accurate but its assumed a linear relations ship [ Y=mX+C ]  where C is the offset at zero - That is the calibration number....  And m (slope) is fixed at the factory and its fairly accurate but when manufacturing deviates a tad that "m" is off and cannot be changed -  Thats why i propose a 2 point calibration (like the old Quarq) by placing a known weight to get the 2nd point.
now for cadence where the biggest issue with new power meters that dont use a magnet for rpm... the rpm can be all over the place and delayed and if using the peak of the sensor and average the time between a small amount of peaks that is problematic.....

I gave up trying to explain my case to them

Has anyone found an alternative spider for their 5-bolt interface, or can someone confirm that the interface is compatible with SRAM 3-bolt? Looking through the thread plenty of people stated that it might be, but I could not find anyone confirming it.

https://xcadey.com/product/xpower-meter-spider-screws/

Xcadey uses these really annoying proprietary T20 torx screws (not the standard T25 torx for 3 bolt). You can buy the screws directly from Xcadey ($1usd for 6 screws). I ordered 24 of them because they strip easily with too much torque. I've yet to try the Ventus crankset with another PM, though you might need to use the Xcadey screws if you do.
