Nope. Absolutely no rattling on mine. Have you checked the obvious? Is everything tightened down? The Torx screws on the
PM were not properly torqued when I got mine. Also the preload adjuster: Make sure that is properly set and tightened.

There's a million different iterations of Sram Red. I got the wide axle BB30 one with removable spider in 175. That one is 340g. I also have the one piece BB30 version with the hollow carbon spider (exogram) and the shorter BB30 axle. That one is silly light. But it is also the second Sram crank that broke on me. The axle came loose in the NDS crank arm. I got another Force crank where the pedal insert came loose. Carbon repair shop told me to bin it as there's nothing you can do about it.

Anyway, I'm not losing sleep over 40g of crank weight.
Here's the pics you asked for.

This is looking great my friend! The bulky shape of this cransket matches nicely with shapes of your frames. Wheels are also looking great. Lovely build!

Got mine a couple of days ago, took about three weeks. I  also paid a "Einfuhrumsatzsteuer" of 17€. The shop was cheeky with the declared value. So that's obviously a risk when importing. I paid under 300€, great value but also makes me a bit uncomfortable about the quality. All looks good though, finish is pretty clean and the crank itself is really bulky. Weight with spider was 505g, which I actually like, calms my worries over fragility. And it feels really stiff, feels very different, especially when standing up. Power numbers seem fine as well, very similar to the magene PES505, which I had installed before. But (older) Tacx Neo shows lower numbers, but I think that's a problem with the trainer, as I have three PMs and only the Tacx differs. But I have no way of really confirming that at the moment.

Installation was easy enough. I have a BB90 and put a 1mm spacer on the NDS and 2mm on the drive side. Q-factor is on the wider side overall. I also had problems with the pedal threads, very tight tolarences. But carefully and slowly threading it in and out did the job. A little bit of metal shaved of the threads though, not great but fine in the end. The crankarm needs 45nm of torque, did I it without a torque wrench. Chainrings (small Ultegra, big TA specialities) were no Problems with the provided bolts.

I can confirm this fits with T47 internal BB (Trek)

The instructions call for 2mm spacer on either side, based on a BB width of 91.5mm. My BB measured 90.5mm, so added an extra 0.5mm spacer each side. Q factor seems quite wide, I could probably remove or reduce the thickness of some of the spacers, especially on the non-drive side. PM is very close to the BB shell frame though.

Easy to fit, no issues with pedal threads as reported by others.

Weight 498g for 165mm length (crank and PM only, excl. chainrings, chainring bolts etc).

Maiden voyage to come this evening...

The Q-factor is wider than most, I can confirm that. Xcadey state 148mm which is almost as much as Sram‘s wide cranks at 150mm. I for one like it, being a bigger guy. But I also don’t find I notice much of a difference to my Campy Record cranks for instance. Those have a q-factor of 145,5.

Do you also have the problem that something on the crank screw is making noise, as if a washer or something similar is loose? To check this, you would have to unscrew the cover cap, but I don't know what tool I need for this. Does anyone have any ideas?
There should* be a washer between the crank bolt and the extractor cap. It's only used ("loaded") when pulling the crank arm, otherwise it just lives an air gap - free to rattle. No need to unscrew the extractor caps. Just get some grease in there and you're good.

*) As in: Required in accordance with good practice; I don't know if there really is.

Thanks mate, that's exactly what I did. However, I first used drip-on chain wax. That got rid of it.

The crank itself is really great. Compared to the Magene P505, it is noticeably stiffer and the chain line is better, slightly further towards the bottom bracket.
The only problem were the miserable pedal threads.

I agree. Absolutely atrocious to the point that I’m afraid of taking the pedals off again. I was thinking of getting some lighter pedals down the line but now that they’re in there I think I’ll just leave them.

The stiffness on these is really reassuring. Easily the stiffest cranks I’ve ever used, which is no surprise given how hefty the crankarms look. If you’re using pedals with very short axles/very narrow q-factor and have big feet, you might get rubbing on the DS crankarm, though.

I would hold off on the ZRace until there's some detailed independent reviews of the Arcrayo power meter that it comes with.

Also keep in mind the Zrace is Dub vs Ventus 24mm spindle, depending on your BB, 24mm might be better

Yes. The 24mm spindle and a proven powermeter are why I chose this crankset. I hope it will hold up for longer than my Magene PM.

As promised, update of my experience for Trek Madone with T47 internal BB:
- Delivery took a few weeks, but no additional charge for delivery in UK (VAT was included at checkout, and I had bought some other items)
- Cost was under £300 with the Ali Express sale at the time
- Weight for the 172.5mm was 500g exactly (excluding spacers and rings)
- No issues with pedal threads (I did give them a clean out first in case there were any debris in there)
- I installed Shimano Ultegra chainrings (52/36)
- I initially installed crank with 2mm spacers each side, but once torqued to (vendor advised) 40 Nm the NDS spindle was completley flush and preload would not move (though cranks did rotate and shifting seemed fine)
- I thought best to reduce spacers on the NDS so tried to remove crank to adjust ... It didn't like it - the DS connector on the spindle kept getting stuck in the BB bearing - the BB bearing ended up coming out with the spindle ... 🤦
- At that point I just let my mechanic install it (I needed him to do other stuff on the bike anyway) - not sure of exact spacer combination he used, but he left enough visible spindle for one turn of preload

Only had one decent ride so far - as others reported crank seems very stiff and Q-factor feels slightly wider - similar to the KICKR bike I use (but have not measured it). The slightly shorter crank does as you would expect - open the hip angle a bit and I spun slightly faster. At a high level, the PM numbers seem comparable to other PMs I have used and the reported L/R balance aligns with what I have seen previously. At some point I will borrow a Neo 2T to validate against (and adjust scaling if needed).

I'm curious what's the lowest price people have bought this crankset for? I think it checks all the boxes for me. It also looks like I can attach my Magene 3 bolt spider PM to the Ventus crankset and use the Xcadey PM on other 3 bolt cranks.

According to this https://www.pricearchive.org/aliexpress.com/item/1005009692178508

It says lowest price was $356.78
