YBN carbon fiber bike chain soon to be released

UPDATE: Not actually carbon fiber, just a carbon fiber hydrographic print on a steel YBN chain!

It looks like YBN is in the final stages of releasing a carbon fiber bike chain in 11 and 12 speed. Also available in hollow and non-hollow configurations. Initial feedback sounds fairly positive from testers. It looks like it might be possible to have an almost full carbon fiber bike especially with the recently released carbon ceramic disc rotors!

The pins are steel or titanium right? if they're carbon, no way it lasts more than 200km. Rolling resistance is probably garbage too.

It'll have awful durability and shift like shit, but there is a very specific niche for it in hill climb time trials. There people use a bunch of gear with a higher risk of failure (like track tubs) and you start knowing you might not finish.

Sorry guys, I must have misread the translation on Chinese social media. This is a carbon fiber hydrographic print on a steel chain! Though the same debates on durability and the insanity of actually riding a CF chain are being discussed on Chinese comments.
