Author Topic: $250 USD items ordered on 11-11 weren't delivered to me: Refunds Issued  (Read 2859 times)

How many of you ordered items on 11-11, and then after they were claimed to pass through customs, haven't had any delivery updates?

A week ago, I received E-mails from Aliexpress stating that I could request a refund for 3 different orders I made during the 11-11 sale.    All of these items were on sale, I applied coins and used coupons during the purchase.    After Nov 20th,  there were no longer any tracking updates for these items.

I applied for a refund and money is being refunded.

Here is the kicker.   These items cost me $255 dollars total.   Today, I carted the best deals I could find for the same items, with coins, and the smaller $ value coupons the best total price I can get is $320.
These items are for a winter project I am working on.  Build plans are impacted, and I am bummed that placing another order will cost me $65 more than I was expecting.

Venting at the delays and added costs....

I just had one that the local shipping company messed up with and sent back, but AE is convinced I received it. Super fun stuff.

I've received most my orders except for some spare Wheeltop batteries and a frameset I ordered using the cheapest shipping method (it's currently being off-loaded from a container vessel in Long Beach as I type).

Lucky for me, most my items go straight to the AliEx US distribution warehouse and then get delivered by private courier. Refunds have also been quite easy. The only thing that sucks now are prices aren't as low from last year and a lot of the good stuff doesn't ship to the US due to the tariffs!  :'(

Nothing to report about here, I am 18 for 18 on my 11.11 items and deliveries were quite zippy too. Tijoe, did you get yourself on a governmental watchlist?

No issues on my orders. All as expected.
My wife, however, prefers Temu. Swears that its safer. I can not convince her its basically the same thing. Her order was stuck in a major city for almost two weeks after passing through customs. Supposedly out for delivery now.

Yes, I'm in the same situation you are.  I haven't received anything.  Everything has been stuck in customs.

Never in my life have had an issue like that and I'm on ALIX for like 15 years
My first order on Aliexpress was October, 2011.   My addiction kicked in sometime in 2014.  The US Tariffs have helped to reduce the volume and times between orders.  My withdrawals between April and July this year left me with bad shakes and a huge increase in the consumption of chocolate and ice cream.  Unfortunately, chocolate and ice cream is also becoming unaffordable, so I have been searching out other lower cost sources of sweets.

Regarding refunds, my most common irritation with Aliexpress has been "ships from USA" items.  To date, I have received only 1 out of 6 items over the past 2 years.     In general,  I believe that I have had less than 2% of all of my orders since 2014 refunded, but that is something I have not specifically tracked.
