if you're going from a regular road chainline (43.5mm for shimano, and also easton ea90), it's probably a good idea to get a 3mm offset chainring. That's what I have on my gravel bike (10-51 cassette and 3mm offset chainring) and I've noticed the chainline is straightest when it's on the 5th from largest cog on the cassette, just like the shimano app tells me it should be. 46-47mm is a normal gravel chainline (or 47.5mm for sram).
