New wheels: what to mount FarSports vs 8LIEN

To be honest those wheels have at least few rivals. Both farsports and 8lien are overpriced.

Here a quick view on the L5W.

They feel better than my previous wheels (Roval RAPID CL II). For sure lighter, and more stable in down hills due to the wider inner width. This I really enjoy, before in some areas I was not feeling super safe, now I am. BTW I am riding GP5000 30mm with 4.5bar pressure which it makes them up to 31.9mm width.

The only thing I need to get used to was the sound coming out from carbon spokes. If you have tried them in other carbon wheels, you know what I am talking about. It is not bad, it is simply something new to me.

For the person who asked me why not CRW 50/60s, mainly due to two things. I was looking for a less aero profile there and for almost half of the price.

Why spend $1200usd when you can get a similarly specified wheel for around $650usd with a H-Works SR313 gravel specific hub and Sapim CX Ray spokes.

At the moment, around 1200km of testing. Happy with them. Weight 82Kg, bike weight 7.2Kg.
