Brake pads for hard riding Downhill

I have a Shigura setup with mt trail sport calipers and deore levers and Kingstop metal pads. The front brake pads can't take the beating I give them. They fade, and even when at the right temperature, they can't stop me well enough. A lot of talk about Coomas pink and gold, but judging from reviews they wouldn't be any better than what I currently have. I have ordered some Acid (cube) sintered pads for 8 euros just to test.

Do you guys have any recommendation on higher end metallic pads for this kind of use?

Galfer green are the best pads I've used. They're expensive and wear quickly but work brilliantly.

well yeah I get it, but the whole reason I was writing here was to find some cheaper alternatives that work well. I don't want to spend 16 euros every 2 months for brake pads. What about the standard white galfers? Purples?

I've used the Hope purples on my V4's which I think are the same and I'd happily run them on the rear as the performance isn't noticeably different there, but there's a noticeable drop in power at the front. I've just come to accept that expensive pads and tyres are one of the unavoidable costs of mountain biking and the loss in performance isn't worth it for me.

Kingstop ceramic (orange) or metallic (gold). The full on metallic have great bite with my Lewis brakes.
