Hongfu Avenger Shuttle
« on: October 07, 2025, 03:59:00 AM »
Hello.

Does anyone have any experience with Hongfu and in particular with the Avenger Shuttle or Shuttle SL? I have been scouring the forum, but there hasn't been a lot of information regarding this frameset. I am able to purchase them for sub 1k USD atm, so they seem very tempting with FSA NO 55 R headset, T47 external, UDH hanger, 32C and a weight of 870 for normal and 750 for SL.

I will put my review on the forum, bike is amazing, long story short :D ! The full bike so with pedals, bottle cages, garmin mount etc. 6.3 kg, in size 58! I reduce it a bit this month from 6.5 kg  8)

I was considering this frameset a while back.
Price was the deal breaker for me. For under 1k USD I’d be interested in it.

Spoke to Avenger last winter. Right before all the tariffs were in effect. Basically they told me they were pulling out of marketing to western customers because of tariffs, and focusing on domestic.

What bottle cages are you using?

I have it from Ali, you can find a lot of them, approx. weight is ~6-7g, for bumpy roads I used one from Kogel, more stable.

Looks like a great bike, I've seen full Ultegra versions with Ican wheels built at 6.7kg. It looks decently aero for a lightweight frame and price wise it blows the new Winspace SLC 5.0 out of the water. The only thing is that size 56 is a bit on the low side for me, stack wise, so I'd have to run a good amount of spacers.
In the end the really light Longteng or the Vook V8 (I've seen a SL version of their aero handlebar too) might be a better pick for me.

Mind sharing where it's available for that price?
