Raw Carbon Frame - Before Usage

Hi there,

My question is quite simple. I would like to buy a raw frame carbon but I wonder if any paint products need to be applied on it before building the bike like a polish to protect the frame.

If yes, what product do you recommend ?

most manufactures do offer a clear coat without any additional charge. So personaly i would suggest going with that, as it does also fill in some small imperfections and holes in the frame. And you can still see the raw carbon.
