I received the crank set + powermeter today. Can not say much about it at the moment but everything looks fine so far. I will be able to test it, when i finish my build (probably in 2 months +)

Edit: OK, fuck it — I just pulled the trigger and decided to build a new bike. First part ordered!
Got the ZRACE UNCHAINED Power Meter + Crankset 165mm (Link 2) for 220 CHF (~275 USD). That’s half the price of the Magene TEO P515 and “only” about 60 g heavier.
I really hope I didn’t miss anything and won’t regret this decision — definitely a 100% impulse buy.

I think I got lucky — it seemed like a promo because the item was newly listed in the store. After I made the purchase, only the other crank length options were still available at the discounted price. So what I mean is that there was only one item per setup (crank length option + power meter) available at the discounted price. I still haven't tested it tho. Ordering all the other parts now with the 11/11 sale for my new bike build.

Yes sir, although I really only need another wheelset and crankset.
I'll decide last minute if I should get another Magene P515, because even though it has proprietary mounts, at some point I will have all crank lengths anyhow haha. But the ArcRayo/Zrace combo looks really sweet as well.

Yeah, sweet. I was planning first to get the Magene TEO 515. I have already a Magene powermeter on another bike. But got the good deal in the end.

I'm looking for a wheelset as well. What are you going for?

The app does have power balance, and other stuff there to setup the power meter

Are least the spider has the 3bolt direct mount and not his own patent as Magene pes do. With Magene you are basically forced to use his own crank

good to see people are interested in this power meter + crankset as well. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for my frame and the remaining parts to build my new bike, so I’ll only be able to review/test the power meter at the end of December or the beginning of January. Sorry about that.

I just checked on Google real quick — there’s some more/new information about the ArcRayo, but still no real reviews. Besides that, there are a few other new cheap power meter brands popping up right now like Thinkrider, Leoseek, Geoid, etc. Those might be good alternatives as well.

Here are some negatives I've experienced:
- 2s+ delay, which is very annoying at the start of an interval when you don't yet have a feel for the power
- 1Hz update rate (similar to a Kickr Core, not per revolution like most other spindle-based PMs)
- Battery seems to drain relatively quickly

All of my indoor dual recordings looked fine, but I'm sure GPLama will find some issues. App is also alright.

I noted the delay the ARS has. No residual torque issues but it was inconsistent between zero offsets by a few % (shifting during a ride). Having said that, it was one of the better spider meters I've tested in the last few months.... although the benchmark is pretty low given the critical issues the others have.

Hey @cls_elite can you confirm the interface standard of the cranks you received? I ordered the same day as you and mine arrived but I didn't check the interface.

Now I sent it to the bike shop and they told me the power meter has a different interface (SRAM 3 bolt). From your pictures of the PM I get that the cranks are easton interface.

(Aliexpress order is closed, not sure I'll be able to open a return/refund process)
