Custom paint: Yes — total no brainer.
 
Anyone who’s had custom paint done locally knows you’re easily talking £1,000+ in the UK. When the factory option is just a couple of hundred dollars? Easy decision. I almost went for something like my current Tarmac SL8 (transparent vibes), but I figured it was time to try something different.
 
Instead of going through one of the big boys like Panda Podium or Quick Pro USA, I decided to support a local bike shop in Portugal — Ruben Bikes. Ruben’s a standalone store, not part of a bigger chain, and he’s a member of our forum/page. He was super helpful when I approached him, and realistically, most orders from big sites still come directly from Quick Pro in China anyway. So, why not support someone in our own community 💪

Well this Colour way has now popped up all over the Social courtesy of a Cycling news post on the 25th of Jan
Ruben mentioned the Quick Pro ER:ONE frame and Team Euskaltel–Euskadi, and I’ll admit, I’d never heard of them before frame when I approached him about a frame and custom paint after he sent me an excel of custom paint option from other Quick Pro customers . After he showed me, I had a look online and found some Instagram videos and other footage of the frame in action. I liked the colour so much I decided to use it as inspiration.

Decals & branding:
A lot of people mention that the names of Chinese brands on frames don’t always sound great which I agree with but its not a deal breaker when the cost comes into consideration. And the fact now that a western UCI Pro team is now riding this frame (Has been ridden well before Release with Asian Pro UCI teams) will probably now give  More people the confide to buy it and this is what Marketers call “Social Proof” if you have never heard of this term look it up!

My frame finally arrived in the USA last night, and should be here early next week.

The plan is to use this bike as my primary race bike this season. Although I don't do that much racing nor am I good at it LoL. So I'm undecided whether or not to take super custom bling route, or take the pragmatic approach and just build the ER:One with reliable parts. I definitely will be using a very similar direct mount UDH. Great stuff sir!

I would be in favor of a build with high end far east just to put out there that it’s possible to have high end build on a « budget ». Getting a 7kg bike with power meter for sub 5k would have been unthinkable 3-4 years ago!

The value compared to my SL8 is honestly insane. But after the CyclingNews report on the UCI Pro team Euskaltel–Euskadi sponsorship, Quick Pro are suddenly getting a lot more visibility. Now that they’re backing a Western Pro UCI team — and likely more in the future — I wouldn’t be surprised to see prices start creeping up.

Will use the Sixweel Cassette and that there cheapest on at $450usd but I already had this.
With all the additional parts the bike is like £5000gbp Value wise 
But if I went stock used and existing wheelset full DA group set this would come in around £3500gbp

Thanks just waiting game now was told frame was in production yesterday so hopefully it get shipped before the Chinese new year!
I'm interested to see finished frame and fork weights. Plenty of people posting builds but many dont post frame and fork weights. I have used 1000g for M frame and 480g for the fork in my estimate

Bought a full bike from QuickBikes in Ultegra Di2 + R50c wheels. Let’s see how it turns out. It should arrive in about 3-4 weeks to EU.

Size M, 140 mm stem, 38 cm handlebar.

My spreadsheet puts it at ~7.5 kg with Ultegra Di2.

I might make a few changes to bring it down to ~7.2 kg. Still a bit undecided about the powermeter since I did not want to throw a chunk of money into the build

I ordered one last week, as mentioned earlier in this topic. Size L, custom colorway, SRAM Force groupset, bars. Ordered a wheelset from XMCS (58 mm, 20/20h, carbon spokes) as well, so all I really need is a saddle (of which I have PLENTY) and tires. Very much looking forward to building this thing up, just hoping it gets shipped out before CNY! The Quick Pro USA site now has a banner up top stating 3 weeks standard delivery, 6 weeks for custom. Guess this is to account for CNY, as the lead time when I ordered was supposed to be very short.

There's a topic on WW, and people seem to have trouble fitting larger bottles without rubbing against the frame. I normally only use 550 mL bottles, so probably not an issue for me, but the Giant Propel bottle cages should work with larger bottles. I might order some to be able to fit larger bottles somewhere down the line.

I chose the CP17 colorway, green to white fade. $298 extra.
