New frame from Hygge for 2026 : S-Aura.
Max tire clearance : 32 c.
UDH.
T47 BB.

I will add more information gradually when we will have more of it.

Original frame fits 32C front and rear. Measured 34mm and no issues.  That said, I assume this one can push to 34c-36c if Hygge is just as conservative with the tire clearance specs

I reached out to Hygge about getting a frameset for review.

But truthfully I don't really expect them to work something with me since I have no working relationship with them. And Hygge doesn't seem to work with content creators much. My guess is 25% chance here...

Looks like they are trying to move upmarket to compete in what I would consider the $1500-$2000 sweet spot pricing of frames "good enough" to compete with the Western brands. Let's hope all the changes and implied improvements are tangible. Reminds me of the original T1500 Winspace.

I bought based off Henry Chung’s videos on the frame and the in depth Chinertown thread. If they’re smart, they should definitely send a couple out to get the threads rolling with discussion and to increase awareness. If you’re looking for a UCI chinese frame, I think people tend to get led towards Elves or Winspace. Hygge isn’t even in the running yet because there’s low awareness

It's not that popular as Model S was. With higher price tag and no real benefits of that the purchase rate on this forum is low. People here know how to spend money and this frame is not where the money goes.

Pricing is absolutely insulting. They're throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. Various chinese actors have tried to jack up prices like it's Coachella in Xiamen. While this frame looks nice, it's nothing special in any way as far as i can tell. At half the price, it would be very interesting. Nothing justifies that price hike. You will probably start seeing these discounted heavily in a few months.

I just couldn't get the "WorldPeace" paint job on the Hygge S-AURA out of my head, so I simply had to pull the trigger and buy the frame. It's definitely a lot more expensive than a TanTan X68 or a LightCarbon etc., but I just had to have it...

Ordered on 2026-05-18, it was finally shipped on 2026-06-08 after a few follow-up messages. Shipping to Germany was pretty fast, and it arrived on 2026-06-19—luckily with zero damage to the box.

The packaging was really solid and seems to be the current standard box used by many brands like Evolve and others, which you might have already seen in some YouTube videos by "GC Performance" and the likes. Definitely a massive step up compared to the old days.

Hygge claims a weight of 900g for the size L frame. I was hoping it would come in around 1000g including paint and the hanger, but oh well...

When it comes to the paint job and the decals, you can definitely see a bit of a quality gap. At first glance everything looks fine, but if you look closer, there are a few imperfections. I guess that's to be expected with this kind of intricate paint job and price point, though.

The Build Plan
I'm building it up with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 (11-speed) group that I had left over from an old bike. I'll be pairing it with a Magene TEO P515 powermeter crankset, matching Magene chainrings and DuraAce cassette. For the bottom bracket, I will likely go with a Cybrei or WheelsManafucturing one.

For the wheels, I'll start with what I already have on hand—either a set of Yoeleo C60s or a custom build with DT Swiss 240 hubs (38/47mm depth). Down the road, I'll probably swap them out for some Serenade "Wavy" wheels.

Bottle cages will be the Ahyka Aero Bottles (from PandaPodium).
Let's see what the final total weight turns out to be and, more importantly, how the frame actually rides!

Ice crack red. Rama przerosla moje oczekiwania, bardzo ladnie wykonczona, farba super,
wenatrz tez bez najmniejszych zastrzezen. Kierownica jest z modelu “S”, jest swietna. Jest to juz moja 5 rama HYGGE, od modelu z hamulcami szczekowymi po modele z hamulcami tarczowymi “S”. Ta rama to zupelnie inna bajka. Zmienione zostalo wszystko, poczawszy od
rur, geometrii, sztycy siodla, widelec tez zostal zmieniony. Szkoda tylko, ze nie jest kompatybilny z tarczami 140mm. Natomiast jest 160/180mm. Budowa przebiegla bez najmniejszych problemow. Wewnatrz wszystko jest gladkie, montaz sprawnie i szybko. Budowa calego roweru z regulacjami hamulcow, grupy i ustawieniem roweru zajela teoche mniej jak 4 godziny. Rower w specfikacji:

Wazy 6,900 gram. Jestem bardzo zadowolony, miesci sie w limicie UCI.
A tu niemal na kazdym wyscigu jest wazony. W ciagu miesiaca 2x.
Na rowerze zdazylem juz wygrac 2 wyscigi. Prowadze rowniwz w wyscigu etapowym, ktory zakonczy sie we wrzesniu.
Rower prowadzi sie swietnie. Zarowno bardzo dobrze sie wspina pod gore, zacheca do ataku, przyspieszenia, na zjazdach prowadzi sie bardzo dobrze pewnie. Jest tez komfortowy, dzieki temu, ze zostala zmieniona glowka ramy. Poprostu rozpieszcza.
Sumujac ta recenzje bardzo polecam ten produkt.
Jeszcze raz dziekuje chlopakom z Bialini Gomola, za to, ze trafilem na HYGGE.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share that I’ve finally finished my Hygge S-AURA build!

As planned, I went with an 11-speed Ultegra Di2 groupset and Yoeleo C60 Pro wheels. For the crankset, I picked the Magene TEO with the PES 515 power meter. The bottle cages are the Ahyka Aero ones from PandaPodium (which is also where I sourced the power meter).

The Build Process:
Routing cables for an 11-speed Di2 is always a pain, especially through the cockpit. But honestly, this handlebar was way easier to work with than others I’ve dealt with in the past.
However, I did struggle quite a bit getting the cable through the chainstay to the rear derailleur. In the end, a wire coat hanger and a cable guide saved the day.

The front brake caused a bit more trouble. Unfortunately, the lower part of the threads was filled with paint. I actually had to re-tap both threads before I could even mount the caliper.

The Headset Issue:
The biggest headache so far has been the headset. The fork crown rubs slightly against the frame, which is obviously chipping the paint. I’m not entirely sure yet if it’s just a case of excessive paint buildup or something else. I reached out to Hygge about it, and they promised to send me a headset bearing kit with an 8mm stack height instead of the standard 7mm. Let's see if that fixes it.

On a side note, I also replaced the stock hanger with a UDH direct mount hanger for Shimano.

First Ride Impressions:
The first few kilometers felt really good. Nothing unusual stood out, which is definitely a positive thing! The cockpit feels solid and plenty stiff. And surprisingly, the 3D-printed saddle they threw in as a freebie is actually super comfortable.

And now for the most important part: the weight! 😉
Fully built including pedals, bottle cages, and a Garmin mount (race-ready): 7,260g

For this price point, that’s an absolute statement, IMO. If I swapped to slightly lighter Serenade wheels and lighter pedals (currently running Ultegra), breaking the 7kg mark is definitely within reach.

I really like the shape of this frame. Maybe not this specific paint job but the bike looks very nice.
