Bought the SEABOARD/TSUNAMI G2 fluo PINK 🩷 for 300€ total including seat post clamp & complete headset.
Not UDH.
Very clean.
1700g size M
440g uncut fork
Fits 45c tires
BSA shell
Semi internal cable routine
1x 11s mechanical with only reused parts for everything down to the wavy 35-40mm carbon rims
So it only costs me 300€ literally. Even the 44c Tufo Swanpero & pink bottle cage is bin parts

A BLAST for commuting and perfect for Recovery / Winter rides

8.1kgs 👌🏼

Thank you! How does it look like in the sunlight? Still can't decide green or silver.
I think the green looks great! It has a sparkly effect that is especially noticeable in the sun.

I really like the green, pops beautifully in the sunlight. Once I've built it up, I'll post a video on YouTube in the sunlight. Won't be for another 2 weeks though as I'm waiting on some parts. I've decided to go 1x with some black and silver drivetrain, and a gold chain. Have some panaracers that I think will match the green.

Can't go wrong with silver either though IMHO, but I already have some silver bikes.... it's a hard decision and I promised myself my next build would be white but then I switched to the green right before purchasing

I finally found the time to put most of this together. I just have to bleed the brakes and wax the chain.

I encountered an issue with the Kocevlo X01 integrated bars. The included compression ring was far too thick, leaving a large gap at the headset. I ended up designing and 3D printing my own compression ring to get the fit flush.

I installed a 105 Di2 groupset. This is a bit of an overkill for a cheap frame like this. However, I already had it sitting in a box from another project. The rest of the components are Elitewheels SLR Gravel and a Magene PES515 crank.

All in, weighing about 9.2kg, which is definitely not a weight weenie build, but no surprises there.

Nice build! Definitely looks like an awesome option for a cheap gravel bike. Three questions:
What size did you get and what's your seat height?
Did you by chance measure the bare frame weight before building the bike?
What would be the real max tyre clearance? They say 45c but hopefully you can fit something bigger. Idk if you have some gravel tyres to try but I guess people are interested in the maximum fit possible

I went for a size L (51 cm). My usual seat height is around 76 cm.

As you can see in one of my previous posts, the frame weighs 1610g in size L and the fork 430g.

The tyres I have on measure 37 mm. I still have 10–11 mm clearance at the front and 9–10 mm at the back. So 45 mm is really the maximum I'd put on.

I saw that there's a new version of this frame on AliExpress called G2Max which now has clearance for up to 50mm tires and comes with a different fork that has eyelets.

Some insights from someone who got one:

I originally ordered the old version at the start of may and after it didnt ship for 30 days+, I asked whats going on. They informed me of the new version and another 30 days delay. Kind of a bummer because colors and seat post size changed, but 50c wheels and fork mounting points. I decided to wait and after 3 months instead of 30 days the frame arrived 2 weeks ago.

Headset was clean, everything fitted well. Just like in a Aliexpress review I had a bit of paint damage under the top tube.
Price now increased by around 70€ so its not the go-to option anymore....

Have you bought the frameset only? How is it? Did you order directly via twitter bikes, or via some reseller on aliexpress?

Yeah frameset only.

I ordered the first one from this store: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/912407661

and i just got a second one from here, because it was 50$ dollar cheaper: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1102375000

White frame medium size weighs 1,8kg, fork 470

First store took ages for shipping, but marked down the value for shipping, so it was significantly cheaper, but that was before the price increase...

Just built up my G2 Max with GRX 815 Di2 groupset that was somewhat on discount. I had a Carbonda CFR696 2x10 GRX mechanical and the geometry is very similiar. I wanted to build an all arounder bike that I wasn't afraid to get scuffs and scrapes on compared to my CFR696.  I currently ride 70/30 road/gravel so I wanted to stay with 2x for now. Build was very straight forward, nothing surprising or difficult. I was first looking at going 1x13 with Wheeltop GEX but decided to change it. Right now there are a lot of great electronic groupset options: I found 105 R7170 Di2 2x12 for $865 before import/shipping fees from merlin cycles, 105 R7170 2x12 Di2 for $950 + shipping from aliexpress, GRX 825 Di2 2x12 for ~$1200, SRAM AXS 2x12 D1 for ~$1050. It seems like the 7170 is a great price to performance in my opinon but I wanted more gravel range. I got the frame for a great price which included shipping which took about 6 weeks to get to the U.S with no import fees.

Bare frame weight: 1808 grams
Uncut fork weight: 458 grams
total weight including computer mount, bottle cages, peddles, No saddle bag: about 20.5 lbs

My current tires measured 46mm on these rims, the front fork tire clearance measured 75mm for it's clearance across and the rear was about 58mm across.
