Hello all new here... looking for a carbon gravel with high stack...

Hi there. This forum was recommended to me by someone on one of my fb biking groups.

I'm looking for a gravel bike frameset that has a nice, comfy high stack to reach ratio. Not opposed to aluminum but I'd like to go for carbon. UDH would be nice but not mandatory. I've looked on good ol Ali Express and I honestly don't know whats good or not. They also give a choice of getting from China or Taiwan. The latter would be preferable but I won't squabble too much either way since practically everything is from China nowadays any way lol.
My intended use is more for faster gravel and road riding, gravel grinder events, fitness.

you don't mention a specific stack:reach ratio and most brands will sell road bikes that have higher stack:reach ratio then others
Are you looking for a pre built bike or a frameset to build up yourself? I know the XMCarbonSpeed CS-GR01 is popular. there is also a few LightCarbon frames that you can find referenced across the forum (Their website isn't loading for me right now)

I'm sure there are others but I know that Seraph sells complete gravel bikes

Not a chiner frame but I'm a big fan of the Salsa Journeyer (aluminum), it's got very relaxed geometry. My Journeyer was my main gravel bike for a couple years but now it's been converted into an errands/around town bike. It looks like the frame is on closeout on QBP so, if you're in the US, pretty much any shop could order the frameset for you. The MAP is 509 USD so you might be able to convince them to sell it for that.

I have the CWind GT30, which is the same mould as the GR048.  It is also available from spcycle and Airwolf, and possibly others.  The Seraph GR047 is also over 1.5:1 but the stack is slightly lower.  The Lightcarbon is only that upright in the larger frame sizes.  The Cwind comes in full and partial internal cabling and can also come with a UDH.  I don't know if all those options are available from the other companies.

Airwolf also makes the YFG001, which I believe is a version of the Pinarello Grevil F.

I too use bikeinsights but I find most of the 1.5 and over are old models or models for taller riders.  If you can find a pre-2024 Silex, you can get a complete bike from a Taiwan company but the newer models are all flatter.  The only major brand that still makes a 1.5:1 frame in smaller sizes appears to be Canondale.
