ZTTO XDR cassette

2 x ZTTO 12 speed cassettes with 9000km between them on a ebike (2 sets of wheels), running with Wheeltop road groupset. 0 issues, shifting is perfect.Really cannot see the point in paying more for a cassette at this stage.

Installed my ztto 10-33 12 speed to my wheelset just now.

Looks good so far. Lighter than the advertised weight (237 advertised and 207 on my kitchen scale).

Silent so far with my KMC 12 speed chain. There’s a bit of problem on shifting from 10-12 cogs but it also exists on my 105 cassette. Will check if it will still exist on my next bike and rule out hanger problem.

So your using a shimano group set and chain ring, kmc chain, and xdr cassette? And that shifts ok and it shifts into the 10t? I might have to try that for my next cassette

I had this love-hate relationship with a ZTTO HG 11-46 12 speed cassette for the past 2 months.  It is very lightweight at 276g!!! the workmanship is near perfect and it's beautiful.
But to make it work I went through 2 months of messing around and lots of searches and troubleshooting for noise:
 
- I used Shimano XT M8100 12 speed mechanical rear derailleur, At first I chose Ultegra Hyperglide+ 12 speed chain, it works but was hella noisy, several middle cogs were especially bad.  Very quiet at the first 3 cogs and the last 1 cog.
- Then I switched to SRAM Eagle GX 12 speed chain, it's a bit quieter but still I am annoyed by it.
- Then I switched to ZTTO's own 12 speed chain, it's not cheap at $30+ and their chain build quality is not there. It just doesn't feel a very good workmanship. However, the ZTTO chain is relatively quiet and I happily rode it for the past 300 miles without issues. I use this build t explore the fireroad and some single tracks near where I live.

If I knew this I would have used the ZTTO chain at the beginning.

So your using a shimano group set and chain ring, kmc chain, and xdr cassette? And that shifts ok and it shifts into the 10t? I might have to try that for my next cassette

I have Shimano 105 di2 groupset with KMC chain. Solid shifting up until 12-10t so far (problem also exist on my previous 11-34 105 Cassette, might be a problem on hanger alignment).

Im planning to get a 10-33 cassette for my setup and I will use kmc non flattop chain. which one should i get ZTTO or Goldix?

I think they are the same, just different brand name. Get the ones that have the best price.

Update on my earlier ride: Did a 35km ride with 600+ meters of total elevation for 2 hours shifting performance is ok-ish. Not as smooth as Shimano cassette but not really a deal breaker for me. Cassette is quiet tho the one that is loud is the shifting, which is fine for me. Great experience so far. Will update after 1000km or a month of riding.

goldix have a newer slightly different version with a polished larger cog rather than full black with a few other subtle differences. At least from the pictures, rivets and teeth profiles are different

I'm using the slightly newer version with no issues. I presumed they are the same as the the old version, just with a painted alloy big cog.

Which kmc 12 speed chain are you using (they have so many 😅)? I might try it for my upcoming bike

I’m using the gold and black ones. Though I think they are just all the same.

They also offer flat top, dlc and tt chains, but you're probably talking about the regular x12 chains. So i will try those as well. Thank you for the feedback
