help in choosing the size and frame
« on: November 10, 2025, 01:57:52 AM »
Hello. I'm trying to choose a frame. I'm considering a Bxt gravel-135, Mondiace FM-326, or FM-296, a Velobuild aero gravel, or a Lightcarbon LCG074-D. I don't want a very extended position, but I also don't want much endurance. Can you help me choose and select the right size?
I'm not quite understanding all this stack and reach information. My measurements:
Inseam: 85 cm
Torso: 70 cm
Arm: 72 cm
Height: 180 cm
I want to build the bike with a SRAM AXS 1x drivetrain. I would be very grateful for your help.

Hey Denny,

sounds like you should opt for a smaller frame size, since you have long legs and a relatively shorter torso. This means you are limited in top tube length, all the other stuff is extendable like stem, saddle height, etc.
So for the Velobuild it should be an S frame.
I really like this tool for comparison: https://www.bike-stats.de/en/geometrie_vergleich
There you can compare it to a bike you already own, or just compare frame by frame. You can even compare your "full" position by adding the handlebar dimensions and your seat hight, pretty cool!
