New member considering steel Seaboard instead of carbon

I’ve been looking at low budget AE gravel frames to build up as a winter project. I’m either going use a WheelTop electronic or a Sensah mechanical group. I have a spare set of Vision Team 30 wheels that I’ll use. Initially I was going to get a carbon frame, but the Seaboard CX01 steel frame caught my eye and seems to be a decent option at about $425 with shipping. Most of my current bikes are titanium so I’m a sucker for the brushed finish frame. I’ve built and rebuilt plenty of bikes over the years, but this would be my first foray into the wild world of Ali Express frames and components. Does anyone have any input on Seaboard frames? I’m not trying to build a weight weenie bike, just want something versatile that will be comfortable for long days in the saddle across varied terrain.

I think Trace Velo on yt quite liked one of their frames, but Escape collective had issues with this one...

I have the Seaboard GR02 aluminum gravel frame, and it's been great. No issues building it up, and the paint and welds look nice. I'm not sure if that is coming out of the same factory or not though.
