I have taken the plunge, found a cheap Bigrock RS crankset on eBay so bought a 3-bolt Leoseek power meter to go with it. The power meter was $150. Have seen it as cheap as $127, but didn't have the crankset at the time.
I ended up ordering it; the price was really good. It'll arrive soon. I had no trouble installing WeChat. I also found the app without any problems.

So, it's basically the same as the xcadeys.

Are you sure? I have no idea about russian, but gemini translated it for me and as the geoid is suposed to be a reliable one, the leoseek seems to have calibration issues, especial y after sprints.

I suppose it could ve corrected via firware upgrade...

Xcadey has roughly the same problems. We haven't disassembled or compared the power meters ourselves, but the problems are similar.

Garmin Rally has the same problems while mine xcadeys don't. So leoseek is similar to Garmin, lol.

So from the review it seems that this powermeter is just not very good. Same or not as XCadey is not that relevant - both of them are crap.

I've just ordered one of these. Whether is it is crap or not with +/- 1% i dont care we are not gp lama,  as long as it reads power then it's all good. It also means I can put my "good" sigeyi one on my gravel bike.

I'm sure it will be some level of crap, but if it's mostly functional it will fit my needs. I've always wanted a £150 cadence sensor anyway  8)

I received the power meter, ran quick tests, and compared it with the thinkrider xx pro machine.

I did a more visual workout with sprints today.
Overall I am very pleased with the purchase.
