wow thanks for the additional info. Kinda sad about the red color but i'm more interested in that green one anyways.
Dropper insertion lenght seems to be kinda bad. just for reference, OneUp 180mm is around 260-270mm maximum insertion. So you will not be able to fully insert the seatpost.
I have never seen a flexstay on a bike thats advertised as 150mm travel and i would go for the traditional design tough steel is basically made for this type of application.
Yeah, the dropper insertion isn't great, but the seatpost is quite short so I think I would be able to run a 180mm post still.
Merida make a 160mm travel flex stay frame in aluminium and carbon, but I would still go for the traditional 4-bar on this frame.
Do you or anybody else know how complicated it is to buy from Tao Bao for the USA?
The AliExpress link above says "not available for shipping to me," and I am located in USA. Tao Bao seems like it might be possible, but I need to use some additional service and calculate tarriffs myself?
I don't know about the USA, but before the TaoBao app was available in English in NZ, I think you had to use some sort of 3rd-party buying and shipping forwarding service, and yes I'm pretty sure that you'll need to deal with taxes and duties yourself.
