Full Internal front derailleur setup

Hello,

I have already posted on my frame post (SPcycle r088) with no answers... I hope in this subforum I hope better luck.

I have mounted the frame for my son. Everything went quite smootly and had no issues... Except the front derailleur. It is a mechanical 105 12s. It never worked so smooth as the rear one. I think the internal routing must be the issue, maybe on the bottom bracket? The hose should go under or above the BB?

Thanks for it, that's how I have it at the moment, but it's not working propperly so I was looking for a better setup...

What cables are you using? Maybe try those polymer coated shimano ones and their cable housings, they don't last forever but they are slick which is important on modern full internal frames. And make sure everything is cut cleanly and the end caps are put on properly.

I would tell you to try the JAGWIRE cables https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005010049354564.html I know that trace velo also uses them, I'll try to find the video where it solved a problem similar to yours

are you using integrated cockpit?
I found that this was the main source of the shifting problems for me. especially in the smaller sizes the turns are really tight causing a lot of friction.

No, searated stems and handlebar combo. It was quite easy to routing, much easier than o full integrated handlebar.

What kind of inner cables are you using? The Shimano ones are good but it might work better with polished stainless steel cables.

It goes above the BB. Are you running full outer ?? If not perhaps try it.
