How bad can a Chinese frame be? Issues with a Twitter Gravel V1 frame

Came across this video on my YouTube feed:



An absolute shambles of a frame, and almost anything that could be wrong with it, is wrong. A nice reminder to see what risks are out there sometimes.

Yeah I would stay away from Twitter. His experience is very similar to the one I had with this frame albeit in a V2 configuration which has an aero-seattube+ seatpost. Here were my areas of concerns:

• Headset bearing seats non round, had to sand to make bearings fit (aslo lips were rather jagged)
• Handlebar did not fit, in my case the steerer had the correct circumference but the handlebars were to narrow, tested with other stems which worked fine
• Impossible to route front brake cable, had to construct a custom filing tool to file the forks cable channel
• Paint was full of dust and impurities
• Loads of wrinkles and bag- leftovers inside the frame, very questionable build quality
• A 15cm long "crack" from the forks bearing crown up the steerer

I think he bought the shittiest frame on AliExpress just to have YT content to fix it!
