What are the best chinese carbon wheels, in your opinion?

I had quite a lot of them already, including some polish brands. Except the CSC wheels which I had around 3 years ago, all above 4th place are im general great and very reliable, very similar. I really enjoy riding on a wide rim so this is why XMCS is on the first place.

I'm wondering why EliteWheels hasn't been mentioned, I feel like they are really well known and they have some class wheelsets.
Is it because they are a bit "western" that they don't really fit this subject or are the other mentioned brands just better?

Maybe because Elite wheels comes from Yuanan and They used to offer wheelset to "us" then stopped and only sell to pro then changed their mind another time. Elite is a distributor, not a real factory.

Curious if a proportion of Elite wheelsets price goes to sponsorship and branding / advertising, rather the wheelset itself?
These seem to be 10% dearer than equivalent (on Ali anyway).

Also, to the above mentioned brands, what about SuperTeam's offering?

Everyone always claims their wheelset brand is the best, but that’s subjective. Most carbon wheelset OEM manufacturers and brands are essentially selling very similar products—there isn’t much to truly differentiate them, aside from brand strength and marketing.

Some companies don’t manufacture anything themselves and simply build wheels using rims, hubs, and spokes sourced elsewhere (for example, Serenade). On the other hand, you have larger players like XM CarbonSpeed, who manufacture and develop their rims, hubs, and spokes in-house, invest heavily in design and R&D, and also act as OEM manufacturers for other brands. Tagoola falls into this category as well—not a brand I’ve personally bought from, but one with a very strong reputation.

I’ve owned wheels from XM CarbonSpeed, Zen, DFS, and Serenade, and so far they’ve all been excellent.

Ultimately, it comes down to what you want from a set of wheels. Are you driven by price? Concerned about weight? Interested in more exotic hubs? Those factors matter far more than the name on the decal.

Only tried Ican but they have been flawless if you want reliable and fairly good value. V happy.
