I am a little confused on that: is this a plateform agnostic tool or only work with thinkrider home trainers?
From the mechanical side, it would fit on the shimano rear hub of any trainer but would the remote work with any others like Zwift, wahoo or cycplus?
At $25 I guess I could simply give it a go!

The "cog" works with any HG freehub body. The gear up/down button connects directly to the trainer via Bluetooth, not to the app, so officially it is only compatible with ThinkRider. However, the BikeControl app (formerly called SwiftControl) is already working on enabling its use with other trainers through their app.

Si if anything the cog is great to use in egr mode, correct?
I need to read about the bike control app as all this stuff is foreign to me.
