The Coospo powermeter was mentioned in the "most reliable Chinese powermeter" thread and I was surprised there is such a cheap PM on the market. Especially from a manufacturer who's heart rate monitor is highly praised here in the forum.

That's crazy if its any good. I'd be nice if some of these makers would also do "normal" 5 bolt spiders, but at that pricepoint I guess you just buy rings.

Coospo radar is top notch, way better than the original carmín varia one.

I tested this back in November last year. My feedback to Coospo was the following:

Notes:
- The TR70 had a number of false positives throughout the ride.
- False Positives: 11:04, 12:45, 13:05 13:16, 13:21, 13:26, 16:51, 19:58, 46:20, 47:36, 48:11, 48:18.
- Vehicle detection was fine. As was the beam width, threat alert persistence, and the timing of the clearing state.
- Given the amount of false positives, I won't be performing any comparative test rides with another radar as the baseline at this point in time.

They acknowledged the issues recorded and said they'd get back to me if there were any firmware updates. I haven't heard from them since November 18th. My testing was with firmware v1.0.7. I've just checked for any updates, none available.

But back to the S10: So what do you guys think, Coospo is manufacturing their very own powermeter, or is it just a Coospo branded version of another company? If so, which brand likely?

Im comparing it with 1st garnin radar, the horizontal one.

Anyway coospo radar works well, battery life is great, usb C charger opposed to Garmin latest radar. Light is good enough.

After a month real life use this winter in northern spain, with all kind of weather detection is accurate, multi car detection works as expected. No false negatives and a couple of false positives in hairpin style turns with cars coming towards me.

Garmin RTL 500 isn't better that the coospo radar, but microusb in newest Garmin radar is a big NO for me.

the 715 has usb c but its more expensive because it has a camera as well, i looked at all the reviewed radars before buying and if you cant trust them you might as well not have it in the first place doesnt matter which charging port it has. as for the 715 most bigger reviewers say the camera is shit and its true it isnt stabalized but atleast for uk plates they are always readable in daylight or dusk/dawn

Yeah, Aliexpress is blocking all kind's of bike lights shipping to Germany, unfortunately. The radar is a bike light in the end.
This is because of our street laws, as every bike light need a "K" registration with the KBA...

Yes, I know, that's foundn in § 67 Abs. 4 Nr. 2 StVZO (that's the German Road Traffic Regulations), "Blinkende Schlussleuchten sind unzulässig" = flashing tail lights are not permitted.
In the explanatory memorandum you find the reason for this ban - car drivers would not be able to judge the distance to a bicycle with flashing tail light in the dark.
I'm not kidding. Everywhere else in the world flashing tail lights are allowed. IMHO they're WAY SAFER that steady tail lights (the intensity is regulated in Germany as well).
German car drivers seem to be from a different breed than in the rest of the world.

I got my first varia radar in germany, very annoyed it couldnt have flashing light, that affected the battery life so +5 hour rides were a problem, getting home without battery was very dissapointing.

gplama reports that this one is crap too. Likely shares hardware with the Thinkrider PP5 - the firmware numbers are the same (and updates were released at the same time, again to the same firmware version), and the issues are the same. Another one to avoid.
