Igpsport updated binavi’s and binavi air’s firmware. Biggest changes are in new data fields for cycling dynamics and breathing tymewear sensors. I also noticed choosable colors of route on map fields. Screen brightness for me is the same. Ios app hasn’t been updated yet so all new data fields are customisable only via computer. It’s positive that they still work on it :)

Can you provide the rsc file to update ?:) my  unit doest not see any new updates :(

My current bike computer's finally starting to give up and looking at this.
Tend to just use maps and data collection but climb pro/ iclimb looks like an interesting feature.
I currently prefer to use my GPS without phone connection and just plug in to PC when I want to do uploads. How capable is the binavi/ air on its own?
Bonus question for this one- the sticky watts issue that Shane Miller highlighted for the binavi- did that transfer to binavi air? Does anyone know if the issues have been resolved?

I've posted about that. Running a 630, and I regret buying it and couldn't return it. Ghost watts never fixed, navigation is even worse than Garmin, climb creature is worse than Garmin, it's like they have a down syndrome software team honestly. Nobody in that company rides bikes apparently. Also can't calibrate a power meter. It claims to do it, but doesn't. The hardware is nice though, but it's a piece of £hit.

I have 2 of the 630s.  One of them has a battery problem where the battery only last about 6 hours.  The second one still works OK.  I ended up purchasing an iGS800 when they first came out, and have been very happy with it overall.

I am running a BiAir Navi. Realy enjoy it. I do not use the spoken directions through my phone. Just use the notification and sound that something is coming up. (Sounds for a specific type of notification are selectable). Climbpro much better than on my Garmin 530. Sticky Watts I have not encountered. Run a Stages l/r PM.

Hi guys, how's the iClimb feature on the Binavi Air?
Does it work only when following a track or does it detect climbs on the spot also when riding free?

I've got a BiNavi, so the firmware should be the same as the Air. iClimb only works when you've preloaded a route and are following it.

Thanks! Then I'll pass the prime days discount

Btw, I find igpsport product lineup really confusing, I can't tell what's better, what's worse, what's newer, what's older...

Have you reviewed their website.   Seems straight forward to me regarding their product lineup.   "What's new" is highlighted,  and they show all of their older models and you can see their listed prices.

Plus you can compare all of their models with each other.

Well for starters I don't get the separation between "Bike Navigator" and "Smart GPS Bike Computer", when most from the latter category can do navigation too

I tried comparing the Binavi Air to a few of the other models and I get two columns with basically the same checkmarks. Main differences seem to be on the size, but then I don't get the need for a Binavi and the IGS800.

Probably if I study more I might get it, but to me it's not clear at all at a first glance.

And note that I'm not hating on the brand, I own the BSC300 and would be curious to upgrade to something with a Climbpro feature

Agreed, the IGS800 is confusing since the BiNavi models appear to have the same feature set and screen while costing less. Seeing that the IGS800 is sold out maybe they're going to get rid of it which would make sense to me.

Looks like they're releasing another new bike computer on October 10th: https://www.facebook.com/iGPSPORT.Official/videos/something-bigger-is-comingnew-arrivals-are-on-the-wayany-guesses-whats-coming-10/28787226247598082/
