Didn’t I say I have short legs?  Fine on a sloping top tube but where horizontal , like on my track bike in a 54, tube to nuts can be a bit close. I like to be able to stop and stand over the bike rather than lean them it to the side.

Happy to be corrected but believe the standover height is on the XMCS website, I think it's the Chinese text.

XMCS for now. We are talking about something similar to Aerys, but IF we find something suitable that is not trademarked, it will take at least 6-9 months to be able to use it. You log the trademark application in EUIPO, and then have to wait a fixed period for others to object to your application. Possibly because they feel there is too much similarity etc. it’s pretty damn complicated.

Name it "Aeras" (wind in Greek)
Although even simple words might be trademarked (see Apple)

I think that the XMCS logo/brand is appealing and distinctive.

"Aerys" (or something similar), in my opinion, is too evocative of the aerodynamic characteristics of the VRT model.

If you are looking for a brand identity for your "premium" range of frames, I would suggest something different, something that evokes the know-how behind the creation of the entire premium lineup, rather than the qualities of a single specific frame.

I’d think of something like S-Works or X-Lab, just to give a few examples....

I've already thought about that, too. As far as I know, it's the FSA ACR standard, so an FSA adapter should fit. The only challenge will be the Ahead cap or the bolt/thread for the Delta fork.

if the only change is the horizontal top tube:
- more seatpost = more comfort.
- more seatpost / sloping top tube = dramatically more scenarios where you can fit short people on a bike, comfortably.

The XMCS GT has a completely different design than the VRT.

The LCR018-D frame has aero design and greater sloping but, despite its appearance, its geometry is closer to a gravel frame than an aero road frame... I’m concerned it might feel less responsive and less rewarding to ride.

I'm also following the discussion on the LCR018-D, but so far I haven't seen many reviews that address this particular aspect.
