Frame is really looking good.

I understand that you're very busy with Eurobike and everything and i don't wanna complain all the time. But trying to purchase this frame really is not a fun experience. Not answering requests doesn't match XMCSs ambitions to become a serious brand.

I think it is very fair feedback - we lack a lot in the customer experience side. Well noted. As for xmcs.nl I have tried to keep up with the huge volume of emails and insta dm’s. I think I have answered 90% in 1 day. So I guess you emailed/whatsapped Peter?

(Regardless of the above, both Peter and me should have everything better on our websites, in terms of info and ordering process).

It’s a shame it didn’t work out with Aerys. Personally, I think the new logo is awful. However, I don’t think selling the frame without a logo is a good idea, as brand image is one of the few areas where Western brands are still currently superior. Many consumers want a recognisable logo with a consistent design language. I’m no different. Frames without a logo are strongly associated with the cheaper end of the market.

Here is my idea for a logo concept. I think the logo on the rims is very good, so in my opinion it would look just as good on the frame. It’s simple, it’s already recognisable thanks to the wheels, and it’s visually appealing enough for the western market.

I really like this, but I'm not sure it qualifies as "recognizable". I see "ymrc". Maybe a little smaller on the DT, a bit more like the newer Scott Models (Addict / RC) or Trek (Checkpoint).

I agree that it needs a downtube logo it feels cheap without it. And the bike needs an identity, so you don't have to explain others what bike it is.

Some footage and images on our Instagram.

2.4 fits front and rear with 4-5mm clearance (61mm WAM).

So it fits 57c tires no problem ?

You put the riser Gravel handlebars? Can u tell us more about these?
I have & ride 23 bikes
Also I ride a lot, like a lot lot

Yes, 57mm wam easy.

Riser handlebars yes (you did not see the video maybe?). Not sure what I can tell more about them compared to what was already shared. What exactly do you want to know?

Some updates you may be interested in:

- Branding: in 2026 it will remain the latest XMCS logo as shown. Also possible to order without decals on DT
- Working on something similar to AERYS for 2027 -> trademark applications take time
- We have taken the feedback about the chainring size to heart and Peter / designers will investigate if they can make some small refinements to the chainstay so that we can fit - at best - a 50T. May - according to Peter - result in the frame no longer being compatible with mechanical groupsets as it may get tight to route cables through the DS chainstay. Once this has been clarified, I’ll update here (and on our website, instagram/other channels).

This one I understand - haven’t seen the final design version yet, as they are mock-ups on these frames.

By the way, most people at Eurobike I spoke to preferred the frame without brand decals somehow.

Ok I hope you still work on the logo looks pretty bad to me. Reminds me of those tribal tattoos that were popular but now everyone hates. The Aerys font was nice but I don't know if it works with xmcs.

wouldn't that require building a new mold and everything? does that mean the launch is getting postponed? thanks!

Nope. You can order now and get the current version - 30-50 days lead time to build all GRT’s at this moment. If 50T is a must have for you, you can wait to see if they can find a way to refine the frame.

How frustrating for Peter.
Mirror finish possible on the logo?

Wouldtn it be possible to configure with the rim decals on frame as Thaus suggested? Similar decal look pretty good in mirror finish on the voicevelo echo imho. Maybe wouldnt even need to make new ones? But the existing ones are probably made for a radius on the rims?
