Real shame they don’t sell the wheels without decal, the no decal wheels have an moq of 10. I love the specs but just don’t want that big ass decal.

Imho those decals look better irl than they do on the photos. Also they create a nice effect when spinning. You can opt for the black ones if you don't like loud white ones.

I will second this. The decals just ADD to the appeal of these wheels.

I haven’t seen great feedback of CSC customers, based on customer service I’d go with the Kores, but the CSCs are even cheaper and lighter, which is crazy.

CSC are shallower and narrower so not exactly 1 to 1 comparison

KORE. These CSC are nothing like the KORE other than being round.

And I have the CSC gravel wheelset which I enjoy.

Wow. I won't be ashamed to admit that at this price, I am tempted over a set of 55-60mm from the likes of XMCS/Serenade/Zen. Very much put off CSC by the poor reviews.

I am more and more tempted to try carbon spoked wheels...wonder if I can convince myself that these are "safe" (maybe better to say "good") enough!

Has your friend got the steel spoke version yet? In 50mm, cheaper by about USD100 over the carbon spoke. Only 50g in it weight-wise between the black decal Cyclone and equivalent "Top Gun" wheelset.
Only real compromise is potentially the Pillar spokes, as they're just standard round spokes not aero-bladed or anything fancy.

Something to think about over the next few days of the AliExpress sales anyway...

My friend have received a 60mm version and they are looking good. 1360g with tape is insane for 60mm wheels for 350$. Hubs look almost identical to the carbon spoke version just a different flange and they are matte rather than gloss found on the cyclone. Rims are a bit too narrow for my liking 21int 28ext. 50mm version seem to have exactly the same rim as the cyclone

Agree, 24/30 is a good width and probably the minimum these days. That's what's on my road bike currently, but I'm thinking of moving them over to my new gravel build and getting a new road set.

At this price it's hard to say no. You wonder how they can do it for so cheap?

My theory is maybe the the bigger players are selling off cheap rims in bulk to finance development of more trendy, wider wheels...? Hard to believe, given the volume Kore have sold, these are simply QC rejects or "fallen off the back of a truck"

I've been stupid, bought a set of the Top Gun SL50's, ripped off and threw away the hub protector from my rear wheel... Anyone know what size replacement I'll need? I have zero bike knowledge
