New Mondince 2026 frameset FM086

I've been looking for a frame with these features for a long time: endurance, lightweight, and with greater reach, room for 35 tires, and 41cm chainstays. I finally found it, but looking at the geometry, I was perplexed by the BB drop of only 64mm. Does anyone know this product? What do you think? Thanks to everyone who cares to share their opinions.

Geo is definitely an outlier for the "Endurance" label. Looking at the chart and the 35mm clearance, a few things stand out:

• High BB (64mm drop): Very shallow for road. With 35mm tires, this bike will feel "tall" and potentially tippy. It is more like a CX or Crit bike setup for pedal clearance, which contradicts the endurance branding.
• Aggressive Trail (~58mm): The 72.6° HTA and 45mm rake mean fast, twitchy steering. Again, more "Crit" than "stable endurance."

But then:

• Middle-ground Stack/Reach: At 1.47 (Size M), it is not a slammed race rig, but it is not a relaxed upright tourer either.
• Slack Seat Angle (72.5°): This is the weirdest part. It shifts your weight way back. It is likely a design shortcut to fit 35mm tires into 410mm chainstays without the seat tube hitting the tire. You will probably need a zero-offset post or even forward ofsett to get a modern pedaling position. (Altough no issues with the 27.2 seatclamp)

Maybe they want a fast handling endurance fitting bike? It explains the low seat tube angle. The motive was likely to reduce chainstay length to that 410mm mark while maintaining tire clearance.

Just looking at it:

• Front end: Cannondale SuperSix EVO vibes.
• Rear end: Factor O2 seat stays inspired.

I dont see the point (yet), maybe it caters to a niche? But I doubt it, had a whole rant on the Mondince FM126 on how their geo chart was just Tarmac SL8 copied, but worse

Yes, this geometry is very strange; I'm not entirely convinced. I have a Santa Cruz Stigmata V3, which I consider a great bike. I'd like to buy a second bike, more road-oriented, but still with a comfortable stack. For now, I've only identified the Elves Eglath ARX, but I don't really like its pronounced sloping, or the Quick Pro Zeit, which is a good compromise for me. But honestly, it's a very difficult segment, especially in the Chinese market.
