I think that FM336 hase too roadish geometry and there may be problem with significant toe overlap if you have larger feet, use modern rearward cleat position and run 45-50mm tires.
FM316/326 are much longer.

i am 175cm with 42 size foot and use 165mm cranks
my main bike is seaboard gr02, in size 50, and with 40mm real width tyres i can comfortably go on singletracks, but there is a small toe overlap, i tried 50mm and it was a problem
with bikeinsights, when i compare the seaboard with size M fm336, there´s 35mm more distance to the wheel with same size tyres (40mm)

It has great progressive geometry, that helps go long and low. No risk of toe overlap with a nice long front center.

I was texting Jack and he said my frame is the fifth one he's ordered. I posted about this in another thread. From my comparisons, it's a 1:1 Trek Checkmate SLR; the differences are cosmetic in geometry. The 336 fork has a 5mm larger offset.

Well, all the parts are officially here. Just waiting on the frame. Force E1 w/ red cranks. Wolftooth 46T. GX mullet. Tagoola wheels.

Trying to decide on tires… I’ve got two sets of Vittoria T50s in a 45mm. Wondering if I should try some Burt’s?

So, the 336 is more roady and has a longer front? I think I have spent too long looking at geometry
charts comparing various frames to my Vielo V+1 race. I need a lower more roady frame and this may be it, or the xcms.

Well… I pulled the trigger 😄

Couldn’t resist anymore and just ordered a Mondice FM336 frameset (size S) with a custom paint job.
Going for a chameleon finish (No.10) with a smooth gradient into black pearl – all in glossy. Really curious how the final result will turn out!
Total came to 668€ shipped to Germany (DDP), including frame, fork, seatpost, headset and paint.

Now the waiting game begins… lead time is about 12 days. I’ll update once I get photos and, of course, when it arrives 👀

Anyone here already riding the FM336 or experience with Mondice paint quality?

It's a nice color, and I was also thinking about using it in a paint job. Ultimately, I decided it would be more suited to the road, so the design below won. Playing with AI to paint a frame is fun.

I see that prices are quoted at discretion. My current price is €670 including shipping to Poland. This includes the frame and integrated handlebar.

Hi guys, A friend of mine is almost to pull the trigger and make the purchase but he is in between sizes. He is 180cm height and not sure if proceed with M (490) or L (520) size.
Any recommendation or someone that was in the same situation?
