You send us a video from the painted frame on 28 April. Another with clearcoat on 29 april. And more than 2 weeks later the frame ready video??? I missed something  ... or are you also part of the Mondince AI army???

The delivery was held up due to reported problems with pushing the brake cable through the chainstay. The problem turned out to be excess glue. As far as I know, they weren't shipping.

Can you please show rear tire clearance? Looks really good.

I can fit an 6mm Allen key between the tire at its widest point and the frame in all four spots with room to spare. So there is probably between 7mm of clearance on each side with the TB’s measuring 52.8mm. I can actually fit an 8mm Allen key at 25 PSI but these are currently 35 PSI.

I’ve been happy with my frame. Just built up the 296 and it’s sick. My biggest gripe is with Lexon and their handlebars. The bars feel/look fantastic but crack while torquing to 5nm (manufacturers specs). With how many folks this has happened to, I find it interesting that they have such good reviews on AE.

Anyway, wrong thread but here is my 296. Blacked out.

How is it that your Thunderburt measures 52.8 in a 32mm internal width wheel. 2.1" should be 54mm? How is that possible? :O

Burts are usually little under the written width.

My wheelset is 25mm IW, not 32. So 52 and 53mm makes sense for 25 and 35 psi respectively.

Hopefully your experience is better! I’ve reached out to Lexon. Just waiting to hear back from their after sales department. I’m expecting a refund or replacement. I’ll wait for the second bar to pass judgement. If they are not accommodating, I’ll unfortunately have to give them a negative review on their respective sites. I’m usually not that kind of guy, but this is a pretty big deal (relatively at least. Brand new product that cracks when torqued to specifications).

My thought is that the spacer that sits between the fork and stem is a bit too small, analyze this yourself though. Please only take my advice with a grain of salt. Others have had no issues, but many have had the exact issue (see the FM316/326 thread - I think

This is absolutely INSANE. I genuinely cannot believe they did this. Any company with a process that allows the release of something like this must have some seriously concerning issues under the surface. This plus the fake reviews are a deep concern. yeeeeeesh

Quick update on my Mondince FM336 order:

The frame finally arrived today 😄🔥

Overall shipping to Germany was pretty fast. Ordered on April 7th and delivered today.

The paint job looks really good at first glance:
Chameleon No.10 with a glossy gradient into black pearl — exactly the kind of look I was hoping for. The color shift in sunlight is amazing.

There was a small mix-up during production because they accidentally painted an L frame first instead of my size S, but they noticed it themselves before shipping and corrected it.

Now it’s time to start the build 😄
