For sure 45mm fits becuase it would grow till 47,5-48mm, I dont think this will be an issue. But if I want to fit 47mm (which I would like to) then it can be tight, but not sure how much tight

That would help me a lot. If the tyre grows around 3mm approx, I will have to be carefull if I mount a 45 or 47mm tyre there depending on the clearance

This is 44 Tufo on Zipp xplr rims.
Front wheel has a 6mm allen key and space.
Rear wheel has a 5mm allen key, and its tight.

Thanks for the measurements. I was actually thinking to put different tyre sizes. I think If I mount 47mm at front and 45mm on the back in a 30mm outer width wheel, it should reach the 49, something on the front. I will have to cut the tyre hears

I think 49mm will work fine in the front. But i would not go any wider on the back.

Ehh, multiple mistakes on their site that make me question the legitimacy. Their gallery has Mondince labeled frames with some weird blurring of the logo. There is a 296 labeled as a 326. They also claim 20 years of service with zero complaints? Lots of unedited AI stuff too. The double dashes kill me. — vs - is so typically of AI.

Who knows. I could be totally wrong and perhaps they are legit. Hey, Mondince is using AI in weird ways too.

you would not believe me but Jack wrote me today one month after I did the payment saying that the size that came out from painting was the wrong one and he wanted to refund the money...

I am in discussion with him how to sort it out but of course it made me had to cancel all the short term plans because i will not have the time for build it in time.

I also had a mix-up with my order where they accidentally painted the wrong size first, but luckily they noticed it before shipping and corrected it afterwards.

So it seems that this kind of thing happens more often unfortunately.

Option 1:
Tyres Front: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 50mm
Tyres Rear: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mm
Wheelset geometry: Depth 45mm x inner width 24mm x outer width 31mm

Option 2:
Tyres Front: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mm
Tyres Rear: Schwalbe G-One R PRO 700 x 45mm
Wheelset geometry: Depth 45mm x inner width 30mm x outer width 36mm

Of course option 1 is risky, since it theoretically let me keep only 4,4mm clearance on each side at fork.

Personally, I wouldn’t run anything with only 3mm of tire clearance. Industry standard is 4mm and it’s becoming 6mm for gravel. I think you could get away with 3mm if you are strictly riding champagne gravel in dry conditions, but that’s probably it.
