My build is finally done. 

Assembly went quite smooth. Brake mounts wasn't finished well and paint on the furry in this place was a bit chipped. I gave up with XG4 calipers as they barely worked on the front and didn't work at all in the rear no matter how long I bled them.

Only issue I have now that the storage cover feel of two times during a ride with a bottle and copied paint 🫤. I don't know what going on with it. I tapped it for a now. Does anybody have same issue?

The other day I did almost and enduro route with the bike, storage cover rocket solid. No issue at all. I onle have had an issue with one of the two top screws made for the top tube bags because it is loose.  I will have to apply loctite or something similar to fix it.

Build looks great, I had the same issue with the cover on both of my frames. You just have to push on it in the top area, when it is set in place by the magnet, until you feel a click and then it holds very well.

How much torque are you guys using for the seatpost clamp set screws? Mondince told me 12Nm, but this sounds high for a carbon frame and seat tube. I just want to verify it before I crack anything. 

Turns out Mondince sent me the torque for the saddle clamp. I clarified I was asking about the seatpost clamp and they told me 6Nm for the set screws.

I always tighten screws by feel, and never ran into a problem doing so. The seat post clamping mechanism works great, I changed the original seat post (which I really liked, but it's a bit to short for my saddle hight) against a Elita One post and forgot to pack carbon paste when leaving for the Balkans, and it does not slip despite there's no carbon assembly paste at all.

I received my frame last week from https://light-cycling.com/shop/gravel-bike-frame/lightcycling-pace-gf06/.  Ordered and paid on june 25th, so around 4 weeks between ordering and delivered.  I paired it with their own aero road handlebars instead of the gravel, I don’t really like the flare and will be using it primarily as an all-road bike anyway.  They were very responsive and helpful through whatsapp and made sure they understood what I ordered and they updated me along the process with photos and a video.

Packaged well in a cardboard box and lots of foam.  All accessories were packaged in ziplock bags.  Went for Pantone 2645C which is some kind of violet.  Turned out pretty accurate.  Painting is very good, very well finished, bottom bracket and mounting points look very clean so I expect no big problems when building it up.
Had some minor issue due to the compression ring and bearing cap that stacked too high, which meant there was too big of a gap between bearing cap and frame.  Solved it with a dremel and a little patience, now it's perfect.  They told me they will look into it and solve it for future orders so no DIY will be needed 

Will build it up with Force XPLR, Zen carbon wheels (road wheels only for now) and will probably add some adhesive vinyl to customize it.  I'll post again when done.

Why did you order from Light-cycling, if I may ask? From what I gather they resell Mondince frames with a markup, offering more streamlined ordering experience and additional QC. But it's not entirely true it seems. Did you get a quote from Mondince too before ordering?

For me they were 50 euros cheaper and I had a good feeling communicating with them.

Hello,

I'm currently building my 336 and, to my disappointment, I may have bought a stem that isn't compatible: the **Deda Superbox V2**.

After doing some research, I found that Deda sells dedicated headset adapters/top covers for different frames. Looking around, the 336 seems to have a headset very similar to the **Cube Nuroad**.

Has anyone run into the same issue?

Would the Cube Nuroad Deda top cover/adapter work on the 336? Any feedback from someone who has already tried it would be greatly appreciated before I spend another €100 on the adapter.
 The problem is that the **compression ring pushes the top cover up**, leaving a gap of about **6–7 mm**.

From what I've been reading, this seems to happen when the DCR adapter/top cover isn't matched to the headset geometry.

Has anyone with a **336** managed to solve this? If so, which **Deda top cover/adapter** did you use?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I spend another €100 on an adapter that may not fit.

More rides report and this bike goes fast  Cover closed properly doesn't go off. I went racing yesterday for a 100 km race. I felt comfortable 4 hours in the saddle. I think I could brake 4 hours but I was waiting for my female friend couple times.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. If I can't modify a compression ring to make the Deda SuperBox work, I wouldn't recommend Deda for this type of build (Chinese frames).

Just so everyone knows, Deda compression rings have a different chamfer compared to FSA or universal ones. Deda also sells dedicated adapters for each frame brand, but they cost almost as much as the stem itself.

Deda sells compression rings for both 45° and 36° internal bearing chamfers.
