Winspace M6

A buddy of mine here told me yesterday he finally received his M6 frameset earlier in the week.

Dude is a total stud as well. 6'3" 210lbs. Can confirm his low Z2 is my Z3 lol. He ordered a size XXL. He's coming from a Canyon Endurance CF and said that price w/ handlebars for the M6 was too good of a deal to pass up. He's stoked.

I bring this up because as I've always said, 6 years of reviewing Chinese bikes and I can still really only convince Chicago folks to invest in Winspace. The only exception very recently now is Tavelo and QuickPro. You will now find all 3 brands at every local crit race here.

Truthfully though having both YouTuber influencers and organizing race club validate these brands puts a lot of confidence in the average buyer. Buyers who aren't on the forums.

I know a few people here in Milwaukee who are curious, but the process of ordering the cheaper frames from like Lightcarbon is too daunting so they end up bailing. And when it comes to more expensive frames from Winspace and QuickPro, they'd rather just buy a Trek (even if it still costs way way more).

Any long term review of this frame? Currently considering between the m6, quick pro blade or the tavelo arow race.

I reached out to customer service, and they told me that if I order an XL frame but want a 320mm zero-setback seatpost (XS and S) instead, it’ll cost an extra $80.
They said to just leave a note with the order: '(A 0 setback seatpost in 320mm length for M6)'.

On top of that, they’re charging another $30 for shipping on that $80 swap.
I’m not even buying a second seatpost, but I’m somehow being charged an extra $110 total!

To make matters worse, they also dropped the discount rate to 5%.
This is ridiculous, so I’ve decided not to buy it anymore.🤣

I hope this ancient trend of thinking that larger sizes need extra amount of setback will end soon. Longer riders have longer legs which already gives them more setback. We don't need slacker seat tube angles and be forced to buy setback seatposts.
