Pinarello style frame sets and sellers please!

Hey everyone,

I’m in the planning stages of building up a Pinarello-style road bike and have been going deep down the research rabbit hole over the last few months. I’ve spoken with a few different sellers of replica frames, including Yoho, who I was referred to by someone else in the cycling space.

So far, Yoho have actually been pretty responsive, but another seller I contacted (Hellthe) completely avoided answering my questions about frame warranty and shipping protection. That was a pretty big red flag for me, so I’ve decided not to go anywhere near them.

I’ve read a lot of older threads and articles, but I figured it was time to ask directly here since this community seems super knowledgeable and helpful.

I’m very aware of the ethical and quality considerations that come with replica frames, so I’m not going into this blindly. I’m just trying to stack the odds in my favour and have the most positive (and safest) experience possible.

Has anyone here had personal experience with specific sellers or stores for replica Pinarello-style frames that they’d actually recommend? Good communication, accurate geometry, decent finish quality, and safe shipping are my main priorities.

Appreciate any insights — even things to watch out for would be hugely helpful.

 I was looking into this as well but I just bought a genuine "base" model and upgraded the parts. In my case it was a Grevil and paid $2700 online with a 10% store credit. Swapped the stock wheels for my XM carbon ones and sold them for $500, swapped the GRX groupset for my SRAM XPLR and sold it for $800. I also sold many other various bits for another $300 and replaced them with quality parts from Aliex.

I basically got a genuine Pinarello Grevil frameset (with 5 year warranty) for $1100

 If you want Pinarello - buy a Pinarello. They have MANY models in frame styles that are affordable.

As a thought experiment, if someone is already selling you a counterfeit frame illegally, why should they adhere to the warranty they supposedly have anyway? Or is your definition of pinarello-style a frame with similar geometry, then you might have luck finding something but you'd have to tell us what frame and size you're looking for

I would buy from Yoho. Expect to get high quality frame, dont expect much of communication after you send the $$$$. Also, the warranty service and dealing with issues is a hit and a miss. Going with payment through AE will be more expensinve but might be worth it in case there are issues and you need to return it.
