Saddle Rail Clamp help please.

When I torque to the recommended 6 and even a bit over, the saddle still rotates forward and back.
I’ve put some carbon paste in, no difference.
What am I doing wrong?

This is just a very crappy seatclamp design. Try to put the paste inside the seatpost-seatclamp interface.

i have the same clamp, but i got the srew at the bottom and so far the saddle will only tilt when my 90+ kg ass drops on the nose from a good height.

from top to bottom:
the grooved part
the part where the max torque is written on (so it is upside down to read)
the clamp

no carbonpaste whatsoever
6 maybe max 8(if you really need to) nm.
bombproove and no tilt at all

So your saying bolt on bottom rather the top where I have it?
I’m pretty sure I started there & with no carbon paste, CP was last thing I tried. But I’ll give it another go.
It’s a smooth hole in the saddle post (no grooves) so I’m not sure why the orientation would matter as it’s going to be the same interface all the way around - but I’ll give it another go.
I’m reading elsewhere that the 6nm is to protect saddle rails if using carbon rails - but if using steel rails then you can go to 10-12nm 🤷‍♂️

Ok - so I reversed the setup as suggested and took it for a ride and it does seem more stable for now.
Hopefully that resolves it long term.
