racing bike frame: Winspace Agile / Hygge Model S - Aura

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a road bike frame and have been browsing the offerings of well-known Chinese manufacturers.
I've mainly focused on two models:

Winspace Agile
Hygge Model S - Aura

The Winspace was initially my favorite, as I've read a lot of positive things about the brand. However, the frame si M differs significantly in geometry compared to the other sizes, and Winspace confirmed upon inquiry that only tires up to 28mm wide are permitted.
Does anyone here happen to own this frame in that size and can tell me if wider tires would fit?

During my further search, I came across the Hygge model.
There's already a very detailed discussion about the Hygge Model S here in the forum. Essentially, the model is described as OK for the price. While there are some issues with the seatpost, the headset, and a cheap-looking handlebar, these have apparently been improved over time. Furthermore, one user reported a loose bottom bracket and another reported brake rub.
However, there's hardly any user feedback available for the Hygge Model S - Aura (the frame seems to be quite new).
Has anyone here happened to order one and can share their experience?
The price has increased significantly, and I'm wondering if the quality has improved or if the frame is now overpriced for its quality.

OP wants a racing bike. I wouldn’t go for Winspace, but he seems to like it, so why not.

Winspace has some cool frames, but they're all over my budget.
I only considered Agile because it's heavily discounted right now.

What's wrong with Winspace?
During my research, I kept coming across statements that the brand is a premium Chinese brand.
I've also looked at frames from Tantan, Seraph, Ican, and Lightcarbon online, but I assumed Winspace offered even better quality

Winspace is now officially overpriced. You found this forum, so you will find better value options. I would not buy hygge either. Look at the new mondince road frame, I created a thread on it. Should give you a sense of what you can get with less money, without the fake ass branding.
Spend time looking at the forum, plenty of options that may make more sense for you.
That said, your choices aren't bad. It's just that you can do better at a given budget.

Dann werde ich nochmal meine Suche intensivieren. Hatte beim ican das a9 ins Auge gefasst, allerdings hat auch das nur eine Zulassung für 28mm reifen und kein t47 Innenlager. Beim Lightcarbon gefiel mir zuerst das lcr018-d, das ist allerdings fast genauso teuer wie das reduzierte winspace.

Mondince kannte ich noch nicht, sieht aber auch sehr interessant aus. Leider scheint es bei einigen Modellen eine Mindestbestellmenge zu geben. Ich schaus mir nochmal genauer an und melde mich dann dazu in deinem thread

I can't speak for the Winspace, but I can speak for LightCarbon and the quality is excellent, and the bike rides very well (mine's the lcr-017, not the 018, and if you're looking for more of a race bike than all-road, I'd recommend that one in their line).  For around $1000 delivered (or at least it was a couple years ago), I heartily recommend them.

Hi, you may want to check out the ICAN FL1 frameset as it seems to fit your requirements of >28mm wide tyres (ICAN stated that it supports up to 32mm wide tyres) and the T47 BB. I recently built one up and I am pleased with it. The frameset is of great built quality and building it was also straightforward. Ordering it from ICAN was smooth and easy too. Since Serge_K suggested the Mondince yesterday, I'm currently leaning towards their FM126 road bike frame.

While the brand seems to be relatively unknown, there's a fairly long thread here about one of their gravel frames, where people are generally very satisfied. However, I can't find much information about their road bike frame.

The geometry sounds good, and the price of around $790 USD is also appealing.

I've seen the FL1 before, but I wasn't entirely sold on the look.

Lightcarbon seems to have a pretty good reputation here too. It would probably be the safer alternative to Mondince.
