Since Serge_K suggested the Mondince yesterday, I'm currently leaning towards their FM126 road bike frame.

While the brand seems to be relatively unknown, there's a fairly long thread here about one of their gravel frames, where people are generally very satisfied. However, I can't find much information about their road bike frame.

That road frame is brand new. The factory / OEM behind them is Long Teng. Long Teng OEMs for various brands including Cube & Argon 18. My daily driver is a Long Teng. There's cross ownership between Long Teng and Mondince. While not exactly the same thing / people, they work from the same building, so i tend to consider them one and the same, for simplicity. Branding is a dark art and i have very little sympathy for it. I care about the engineers and the artisans / workers designing and making the stuff.
Point being, you can check the forum for long teng reviews, and i doubt you'd be disappointed, with the caveat that it's a new frame.

May I ask how you know that the companies work closely together and presumably deliver the same quality? I can't find anything about it online.

In the meantime, I've contacted both Winspace and Mondiance. Winspace informed me that there are two different frames in size M with different geometries. They attached a geometry chart for the model m with 32 Tore width, and the values ​​seem comparable to the Mondiance: stack 540 and reach 380.

Do you think the quality of both frames is comparable? The Agile is currently heavily discounted and costs between $1200 and $1260 with handlebars.
The Mondiance costs $780 with handlebars and a custom paint job.

Since this is my first custom build, I'm still very unsure about which frame to choose. And does anyone have experience with Mondiance's paint jobs? I've seen several gravel frames here in the forum, but I would prefer a design with flowing color gradients and I'm not sure if they can pull it off in a way that looks good.

I've got an early FM326 and the paint is fine, but the options at the time were limited to a solid pantone colour. There appears to be much more choice now.

Quality of the frame seems fine and it built up with no additional work. It felt no different to build than my Light Carbon LCR017 or a SPcycle G058 I built for my wife. I built it up in December and have only done 400km so can't really comment long term, but it rides as expected and I'm still working out where it's limits lie. It's much better off road than my old 40mm tyred cross bike, but much better on road then my 130mm forked Ragley hard tail.

Small update: I'm ordering the Mindiance FM 126 in the super light version today. I have a personalized paint job with subtle color gradients. I hope they can pull it off. If anyone's interested, I'd be happy to share my experience once the frame arrives. Thanks a lot for your tips.

I am currently looking at the mondice myself. If i got for it i will also document the process in the mondice thread. I am also from germany so i can also tell you about importing the frame etc. It will propably take a bit of time as i am looking into custom paint and logos. They are very responsive via Whatsapp and you can ask the for more or less anything (seatpost setback, which size you need etc.)

Don't go for the Agile. It is nice looking but not what you want from a Bike that goes faster than 30km/h... (I have one myself and ditched it, built 5 others in all Frame sizes)
If Winspace then go for the SLC5 (although it is heavily overpriced).

Mondicine is on my list of "let's try it" as well

For those interested: I received a video of the freshly painted frame today.

Very nice. When you get it, please post pics on the mondince thread, of the front of the bike (i'm afraid the head tube is quite wide, unfortunately), and of the downtube to see how shaped it is: from the side it's very hard to tell.
I wonder how comfortable it will be. i dont think they actually ride bikes, and i dont think they ride tested different layups. Then again, it's made by long teng, and they OEM for Cube and various other brands, so they know a thing or 2 about laying up pre-preg. The seat tube looks chonky. The fork is beefy. The frame overall looks mean, which i like, but i do wonder how it will ride.
Let us know and well done on being a trail blazer on this one!

In addition to the frame itself, there was a wealth of accessories—including two seatposts (as shown in the picture), as well as a black derailleur hanger, a black front derailleur mount, and black bolts for the bottle cages.
