No it's not fine. I don't even understand what's your idea behind this statement that low bb is for racing and high is ok for amateurs. No, it's not mate. I will even say it's worse. Because low bb gives you more stability and better control. Guys who race have way better skills and control then amateurs, so high bb for them would be less of a. Issue then for regular joes.  Your another view that long seat tube = less comfort is also wrong. Sorry mate but you clearly know nothing about bikes.

Genuine question, why is it a problem for racing? Additionally, why don’t we hear all these concerns with the Cannondale Super X which has the exact same geo in a 54cm frame?

That is a pity that it will have such high seattube(( The frame with big sloping would allow some flex of seatpost and would give more comfort. I don’t understand what will be the diameter of the seatpost - will it be uncomfortable aero seatpost or old good 27,2?

not for me... i don't race and i fucking hate low bb drop. i literally see no reason to ever have it so low if you arent running 23c tires. why wouldnt you want to be more stable?

Yeah same. I wouldn't want lower than around 80 and would prefer even more as I run 165 cranks.
I think road bikes should move to more bb drop too as tires have got bigger and cranks shorter. But changes on the road scene are even slower than on gravel.

With T47 eccentric bb you can increase the bb drop about 7mm but then you're locked into certain bb brands.

My size L '21 Revolt has 70mm bb drop. 25k km. It has not been an issue.
What I do like about the Revolt is that it has a hard plastic protector in place on the underside of the down tube. That protector is pretty peppered with rock marks now, more so lower down around the bb.
Anyway, the bb height is not the selective factor for me. The tyre clearance is. I can definitely nake it work. We will see it there is an alternative version with a lower bb. I can probably make that work if it has the tyre clearance too.

Weirdly even though SPCycle basically share many of the same open moulds, their new competitor to this has just been leaked and it has non dumb geometry that is appropriate for gravel racing if you are reasonably fit.

If you just want a bumbling bikepacking frame this looks a lot better - especially with the large central triangle for storage.

IMHO your central triangle assumption isn't correct.
Mondince FM336 comes in five sizes with a seat tube length from 440 to 550 mm.
Spcycle G028 will come in four sizes with a seat tube length from 445 to 550 mm.
With seat tube length being the most limiting factor when it comes to fitting frame bags into the frame triangle, there's hardly any difference.

Just to add one more thing to the BB drop discussion. Few years ago I had specialized diverge E5 comp with 85mm bb drop. I used it as a gravel and road bike with 28c tires. I really loved how this bike was riding and I never had a problem with pedal strikes. That's why I think current era road bike should have 75/80mm bb drop and gravel bikes even more. It makes the ride so much more planted and confidence inspiring, really like I'd during high speed road descent on hairpins. Great for those those tight corners. It's also great in terms of aero because your whole body is lower, so the drag is lower.

As has been mentioned several times, this is essentially the same geometry as the Cannondale SuperX, which has received excellent reviews. The main difference here is that this frame allows for up to 57mm tires, adding a lot of versatility. I’ve actually ordered one myself and am really excited to build it up.
